• Promotes PPL’s mission by building relationships and increasing awareness of the Self-Determination Program and Participant Directed Services. • Engages with community partners and stakeholders. • Connects individuals to Financial Management Services. • Creates and delivers presentations and/or training to program participants and stakeholders. • Identifies gaps in services and brings solutions internally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, or Sociology strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in community engagement efforts related to delivering resources to diverse and underserved communities preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, engagement, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Empathetic approach and desire to solving participant issues and challenges.
- Knowledge of developmental disability services in California.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Bilingual Preferred (Spanish or Korean).
