Role Description We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Pricing Strategy to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability, drive revenue growth, and enhance our competitive position in the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure our pricing strategies align with overall business objectives. - Achieve Barracuda’s strategic targets by designing and implementing innovative pricing models - Set targets and goals around pricing initiatives, monitor performance against those targets and report out on them - Understand how to identify, validate and solve market problems using tools such as market research and/or competitive analysis - Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and implemented - Gather and analyze customer feedback and buying behavior to inform pricing decisions and enhance customer satisfaction - Ensure all pricing activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred - Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in product pricing, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability - Ability to manage complex projects cross-functionally - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels - Experience with pricing software and tools is a plus - Project team management skills, with a collaborative and strategic mindset - Self-starter, passionate about technology, and excited to learn something new Requirements - Must have experience in Excel, ideally capable of building models and carrying out scenario analysis - Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word & Outlook) - Ideally also PowerBI, SQL and experience with business intelligence systems Benefits - A team where you can voice your opinion, make an impact, and where you and your experience are valued - Internal mobility – opportunities for cross training and the ability to attain your next career step within Barracuda - Equity, in the form of non-qualifying options - High-quality health benefits - Retirement Plan with employer match - Career-growth opportunities - Flexible Time Off and Paid Time Off benefits - Volunteer opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
