• Write end-to-end flows and in-product copy across the app: interface text, states, onboarding, system messaging, empty states, error and edge-case language • Design features alongside designers and product, from concept, not at the end. Copy and layout get shaped together • Own naming, terminology, and messaging. What things are called inside the product is a design decision, and it's yours • Develop voice and tonal guidance for features and for generated content. Our product uses AI to produce language, and that language needs a voice and guardrails the same as anything we write • Ship copy into the build. You work close to the prototype and the real product, not into a doc someone else implements
• Lead design direction across major product initiatives, from early problem framing through shipping • Serve as a design lead across the full product development cycle, owning product surfaces end to end • Partner with and influence engineering, product, and research beyond your immediate scope • Establish and evolve the design patterns and principles that elevate the team's product work • Bring your designs to life: prototype, validate with users, and ship production-ready work with the support of AI-assisted tools • Lead through critique, giving feedback that sharpens thinking, not just execution, and creating space for others to do their best work • Navigate and resolve complex, ambiguous problems that cross functional boundaries • Bring emerging technology (AI, ML, conversational interfaces) into the work in ways that are genuinely useful, not just novel
• Partner with designers and engineers to build microsites for product releases. • Maintain webAI's marketing website, keeping it fresh, performant, and aligned with our evolving brand and product vision. • Champion user experience and accessibility across the front-end stack, maintaining a high quality bar.
Role Description We are looking for a pragmatic, hands-on Technical Project Manager to take the helm on in-flight projects and drive the delivery of new AI-focused engagements. You aren’t just a delivery lead; you are a founding member of our delivery organization. As we scale, you will play a pivotal role in defining the "how" of our execution, building the playbooks, and establishing the standards that will guide our team as we grow. You will have a keen focus on Execution, Risk Mitigation, and Organizational Maturity. Key Responsibilities - Tactical Execution: Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects, from kickoff to post-launch. - Delivery Maturity: Actively contribute to the definition and growth of our internal delivery organization. You will audit our current "chaos," propose scalable process improvements, and standardize how we report progress and handle risk. - Agile Mastery: Facilitate Scrum rituals and evolve them to fit the specific needs of our startup environment. You will be a mentor to the team on what "good" Agile looks like for us. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Bridge the gap between engineering and client goals, ensuring our process supports, rather than hinders, technical velocity. - Travel: Required as necessary, 20% expected. Qualifications - 5-8+ years of technical delivery/project management experience in AI or SaaS. - Organizational Mindset: A proven history of not just working within a system, but creating one. You have experience building or refining delivery processes in a scaling startup. - Deep technical literacy and ability to coach others on delivery best practices. - Strong communication skills—able to navigate technical and non-technical discussions. - Highly adaptable and comfortable working with evolving processes and priorities. - Ability to work with imperfect systems and incrementally improve them over time rather than striving for immediate perfection. Benefits - Competitive salary - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits package - 401(k) match (U.S.-based employees only) - $200/month Health & Wellness stipend - Continuing Education support - $500/year Function Health subscription (U.S.-based employees only) - Free parking for in-office employees - Flexible Time Off (FTO) - Parental leave for eligible employees - Supplemental life insurance
