Role Description The Senior Manager, Commercial Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the CCO, running the operating system of the customer-facing organization, supporting the sales team in new account conversations, and leading the cross-functional strategic initiatives that span Customer Success, Customer Operations, Sales, and Marketing. The Sr Manager, Commercial Operations does not own existing strategic accounts but partners with the sales team on new account conversations where senior commercial presence and deployment expertise add value. The role is accountable for the CCO’s operating cadence, executive reporting, the successful delivery of cross-functional strategic initiatives, and the quality of executive-grade deliverables produced on behalf of the CCO. - Drive efficiency and process improvements across the sales and customer success organization to enable revenue growth. - Ensure all sales and customer collateral in SharePoint is rigorously organized, current, and easy for the team to find. - Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing through delivery and post-mortem. - Produce executive-grade presentations and decks for board, investor, customer, and internal executive audiences. - Maintain rigorous organization across multiple concurrent workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders. - Act as the CCO’s proxy at times, in internal meetings, customer conversations, and cross-functional working groups as appropriate. - Partner with the sales team on new account conversations, especially complex enterprise and partnership opportunities. - Bring deployment expertise and senior commercial presence into early-stage customer discussions. - Help shape commercial proposals, pricing approaches, and partnership structures. - Drive ad hoc strategic projects on behalf of the CCO across the commercial org. - Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance on customer-impacting initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in commercial operations, project management, business development, or related commercial functions. - Demonstrated track record of running complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end, on time and on budget. - Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to independently produce executive-grade presentations for board, investor, customer, and internal exec audiences. - Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping balls. - Strong B2B relationship and stakeholder management skills, with comfort engaging senior contacts externally. - Process-oriented mindset with a clear bias toward action and execution. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Comfort operating horizontally across functions and geographies without direct authority. - Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and standard productivity tooling. - Direct experience in EV charging, energy, infrastructure, or hardware industries. - Background in site development, deployment, or large-scale project delivery. - Experience supporting an executive in a chief-of-staff or strategic operator capacity. Role Description The Global Key Account Director serves as the executive owner for the company’s most strategic enterprise partnerships. This role operates as a general manager for key accounts, with responsibility for overall account health, contractual compliance, and long-term global growth.
