Role Description We are seeking a highly organized, data-driven Account Manager to support two strategic OEM customers. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, driving commercial performance, coordinating cross-functional activities, and providing disciplined account management practices that support long-term growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who excels at customer management, analytics, business processes, and commercial execution. While experience with appliance OEMs is a plus, we are primarily seeking an individual with strong account management fundamentals and a demonstrated ability to manage customer business using facts, metrics, and data. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, comfortable working across the U.S. and Mexico, and capable of building strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the primary Account Manager for 2 appliance customer accounts. - Build and maintain strong customer relationships across purchasing, engineering, quality, and operations functions. - Track and manage account performance through a disciplined, data-based approach. - Maintain accurate CRM documentation, account activity records, and customer communication logs. - Monitor quote activity, track win/loss results, and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance. - Analyze customer trends, market share, revenue performance, and pricing strategies. - Support and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers and internal stakeholders. - Manage excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory issues and coordinate recovery plans when required. - Develop account forecasts and support sales planning activities. - Coordinate customer requests and issue resolution with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and plant teams. - Prepare and present account performance reports, business analyses, and customer updates. - Identify growth opportunities and support new business development efforts within assigned accounts. - Travel regularly to customer and manufacturing locations throughout the United States and Mexico. Travel Requirements - United States - Benton Harbor, Michigan - North Carolina - Mexico - San Luis Potosí - Ramos Arizpe - Monterrey Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field. - Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). - 3–8 years of experience in account management, customer service, sales support, program management, or commercial operations. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Experience working with CRM systems and customer account documentation. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to interpret and communicate business data effectively. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Valid passport or ability to obtain one. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Role Description The Technical Program Manager will serve as the central point of oversight for Priority RFQs and NPI programs, facilitating communication between executive leadership, project teams, and customers. Key Responsibilities - Corporate Oversight & Reporting: - Lead corporate oversight during RFQ and NPI phases for Priority projects. - Provide weekly updates to the President & CEO, including KPIs, risks, milestones, and status changes. - Communicate executive direction to all relevant project teams and stakeholders. - Project Governance & Internal Cadence: - Schedule and lead recurring meetings with Project Managers to review updates, risks, KPIs, and changes. - Serve as the escalation point for risks unresolved at the project team level. - Support Project Managers with risk mitigation strategies and schedule compression when necessary. - Facilitate cross-site lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. - Program & Project Tracking: - Maintain and update: - Projects Master Tracker - RFQ Tracker - Monthly Program/Project Launch Schedule (including developing this new process) - Monitor KPIs associated with RFQ Intake and NPI phases. - RFQ & NPI Intake Process Ownership: - Build, maintain, and communicate company-wide NPI and RFQ Intake processes, standards, and tools, including: - WBS + RACI templates - Workflows - Stage-gate checklists - Project workbook templates - Project file repositories - Record incoming RFQs from Sales and assign site ownership; request executive confirmation when needed. - Program Management for Multi-Site OEM Programs: - For programs involving multiple SSW facilities supporting a single OEM: - Consolidate project updates from site-level PMs into a unified program roll-up. - Own and maintain the integrated Program Schedule (Gantt). - Manage and communicate the program-level Action Tracker with the customer’s single point of contact. - Lead customer-facing NPI kickoff and program review meetings. - Conduct internal program review meetings across all site PMs. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field. - 5+ years of program/project management experience in HVAC, manufacturing, or a technical product environment. - Strong knowledge of NPI, RFQ processes, and stage-gate project management. - Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.). - Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to manage multiple simultaneous programs across global teams. - PMP certification or equivalent preferred. - Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant plus. - Candidates based in the state of Texas will be given preference due to proximity to key customer and site locations. - Ability to travel up to 50% for customer visits, new product launches, and coordination with SSW facilities.
