Role Description We are seeking an Interior Designer to join a collaborative design team. Key Responsibilities - Participate in all phases of interior design projects from schematic design through construction administration, with increasing responsibility as experience develops. - Collaborate closely with the architectural team to support client communications, project schedules, and budgets. - Contribute to overall interior design direction including architectural integration, millwork design, furniture selection, material and fabric specifications, and lighting design. - Assist in the design of custom casework including preparation of shop drawings and coordination with fabricators. - Support preparation of specifications, purchasing processes, and installation scheduling. - Help develop client proposals, presentation boards (both physical and digital), cost estimates, and scopes of work. - Present design concepts and material selections to clients with growing confidence and clarity. - Proactively communicate schedule concerns, budget issues, or project challenges to senior team members. - Coordinate with project consultants under the guidance of senior designers. - Contribute to a collaborative, non-competitive studio environment where every team member's input is valued. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. - 2-5 years of professional interior design experience. - Proficiency in CAD systems (Revit preferred). - Working knowledge of InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong hand drawing and sketching abilities. - Some experience supporting or managing projects through multiple design phases. - Familiarity with budget tracking and project scheduling. - Solid communication skills and comfort presenting ideas to clients and team members. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team. - Experience with or strong interest in high-end residential and/or commercial projects. Education/Skills/Experience: - Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture from an accredited university - 8-10+ years of experience in interior architecture for high-end single-family residential or hospitality projects from concept through completion - Detail-oriented and organized with strong understanding of millwork, finishes, lighting, and spatial detailing - Excellent listener and communicator, able to comprehend and disseminate information efficiently - Experienced and technically knowledgeable enough to provide mentorship of junior staff - Proven track record and thorough understanding of: - Leading interior architecture through all phases from concept design through construction observation (spatial planning, material selection, millwork detailing, finish coordination) - Revit Proficiency - 3D rendering expertise in tools that allow for photorealistic renders, material visualization, and spatial representation using platforms like Twinmotion, Lumion, or similar - Coordinating interior architecture with structural, MEP, lighting, and furniture/furnishings teams - Managing simultaneous projects and delegating to team members - Collaborating with architects and interior designers to create integrated, holistic design solutions

• Oversee all phases of multiple projects simultaneously from pre-design through construction observation • Lead technical, business, design, and administrative components of complex residential and hospitality projects • Supervise project teams and delegate tasks effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff members • Manage client relationships with excellent listening and communication skills • Produce expert-level work in Revit for all project documentation and coordination • Create photorealistic 3D renderings and presentations using Twinmotion, Lumion, or similar platforms • Set up and export models for consultant coordination and client presentations • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and agency officials throughout project lifecycle • Ensure projects meet firm standards for design excellence and sustainability • Maintain organized project documentation and filing systems • Participate in design development and problem-solving discussions • Conduct site visits and construction observation as needed
