Interior Designer

SNIPEBRIDGE

• Manage interior design projects through all phases from schematic design through construction administration • Collaborate with the architectural team to coordinate client communications, project schedules, and budgets • Work independently to advance projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight • Monitor and manage client interior budgets throughout project lifecycle • Lead overall interior design direction including architectural integration, millwork design, furniture selection, fabric and material specifications, and lighting design • Design custom casework including preparation of shop drawings, coordination of fabrication, and delivery oversight • Prepare comprehensive specifications, manage purchasing processes, and oversee scheduling and installation • Develop client proposals, presentation boards (both physical and digital), cost estimates, and scopes of work • Present design concepts and material selections to clients with confidence and clarity • Proactively communicate schedule concerns, budget issues, or project challenges to management • Coordinate all project consultants or oversee coordination by team members, maintaining responsibility for accuracy and efficiency • Work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure timely invoicing and resolve billing matters • Serve as an integral member of the design team, contributing to a collaborative studio environment**

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
  • 2-5 years of professional interior design experience
  • Expert proficiency in CAD systems (Revit preferred)
  • Advanced skills in InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong hand drawing and sketching abilities
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept through construction
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively
  • Excellent client communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with high-end residential and/or commercial projects
