We’re looking for a Tech Lead who acts as the primary technical counterpart to our Head of Product & Engineering. This is a high-impact, non-managerial, 70%+ hands-on coding role designed for a seasoned engineer who loves the craft of building as much as the “why” of product development. You’ll report directly to the CTO and bridge the gap between product discovery and technical execution. What you’ll do as our Tech Lead (m/f/d) - Hands-on Execution: Lead by example by writing high-quality, production-ready code across the entire stack (React/Node.js). You’ll tackle the most complex technical challenges and set the quality bar for the team. - AI-Native Development: Pioneer AI-augmented development workflows for the entire team. We don’t just want someone who “uses Copilot” — we want someone who can architect AI features (LLMs, agents, automation) into our platform AND use AI tools to fundamentally change how our team ships code. You should have opinions on when to prompt-engineer vs. fine-tune, how to evaluate LLM output quality, and how to build reliable AI pipelines in production. - Product Partnership: Collaborate daily with the Head of Product & Engineering to translate the product vision into a robust technical roadmap. You’ll be the “voice of engineering” in product discovery. - Technical Evolution: Define and evolve our full-stack architecture. We’re pragmatic about our infrastructure — the right tool for the right problem, not dogmatic about any specific cloud pattern. - Technical Feasibility: Evaluate new feature requests for technical risk and effort, providing high-level estimates and alternative technical paths to achieve business goals. - DevOps Culture: Advocate for and implement best practices in IaC and CI/CD, ensuring our deployment cycles remain fast and reliable. - Mentorship & Quality: Drive technical excellence through deep code reviews, pair programming, and setting the standard for documentation and testing. Qualifications - You have a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, IT, or a related field. - You bring 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Customer Success, ideally within the B2B software industry. - You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven ability to manage a full commercial lifecycle with a focus on expanding account revenue. - You have strong interpersonal skills and are comfortable building trust and negotiating with C-level executives. - You are a proactive team player who is excited to bring innovative ideas for account growth and process improvement. - You possess outstanding oral and written communication skills in both German and English.
