Role Description The Site Compliance Liaison is responsible for ensuring our construction operations and procedures comply with legal regulations and internal policies, specifically including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct and IRA contractual requirements. The Compliance Liaison will ensure compliance with hiring practices, treatment of site employees, and accurate time reporting. Requirements - Serves as a subject matter expert on compliance matters to the site personnel. - Oversees business operations relating to compliance including policies, processes, and procedures. - Monitors control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies. - Assesses the efficiency of control systems on a regular basis and recommends effective improvements to the Compliance Manager. - Reviews and evaluates company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues. - Performs periodic audits on site procedures, processes, and policies to assess compliance and risk areas for improvement. - Ensure accurate reporting of hours worked and IRA reporting requirements. - Audits timesheets on a regular basis to ensure that the time recording is accurate. - Maintains accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities, including audit findings, remediation efforts and training materials. - Ensures effective communication and enforcement of compliance policies across the sites, including posting notices at work sites, establishing non-retaliatory reporting procedures, and ensuring contractor/subcontractor compliance for projects. - Conducts unannounced site headcount verifications, cross-referencing personnel physically present on site against the active payroll roster to identify ghost employees, unauthorized workers, or terminated employees still appearing on payroll records. - Monitors payroll records and timesheet submissions for anomalies indicative of fraud, including unusual or sudden wage increases, inflated hours, and failure to remove separated employees; escalates findings to the Compliance Manager and, where warranted, to appropriate legal or law enforcement authorities. - Serves as the independent, on-site enforcer of the RES Code of Conduct, observing employee and subcontractor behavior, documenting violations, and ensuring prompt corrective action; operates with direct reporting authority to the Compliance Manager independent of site project management to preserve objectivity. - Promotes the site whistleblower and anonymous reporting program; ensures all personnel are aware of reporting channels. - Verifies worker credentials, classifications, and certifications for all site personnel including subcontractor and sub-tier labor; confirms that worker categories (craft, non-craft, apprentice) are accurately reflected in payroll and IRA reporting and flags any misclassification that could constitute fraud or regulatory non-compliance. - Identifies and documents behavioral indicators of occupational fraud, including employees who display unusual reluctance to take time off, unusually close vendor or subcontractor relationships, unexplained discrepancies between billed labor and observed site activity, and change order irregularities; prepares detailed investigative reports and presents findings to the Compliance Manager. - Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. - Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures. - Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. - Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors. This role provides senior sales leadership and coordination across Northern Europe, supporting Sales Managers through coaching, peer review and bid discipline, while working under the direction of the Regional AM Head. Organisational Context - Providing senior oversight and coordination across the Northern Europe Sales Manager group, helping ensure focus on priority opportunities and effective use of sales resources - Working closely with the Regional AM Head and the AM Sales Support team - Supporting the Regional AM Head in implementing the regional AM Sales and account management strategy and contributing to wider international strategies for winning AM contracts. - Collaborate with Sales Managers and other AM sales colleagues across RES regions. - Regional Asset Management leads / Managers and other business leads, including finance and procurement teams; - Regular communication with existing customers, key accounts and new / target clients and external contractors; - RES Services Marketing team; and - Communication and collaboration with other groups within RES Services including O&M, Digital Solutions and RES Group including Engineering, Finance, Insurance and Legal. Accountabilities As a Senior Sales Manager, you will: - Support the Regional AM Head in the execution of the regional AM sales growth plan / strategy, contributing to its ongoing development and refinement; - Support Sales Managers in planning and delivering sales activity aligned to agreed regional targets; - Create, develop and maintain new and existing client relationships including preparing and delivering presentations to clients and identifying and generating opportunities to submit bids; - Contribute to the development of the services to be offered, their costs (and cost models) and profitability; - Working with the AM Global Sales Support team, manage all relevant opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract signature / handover to the Asset Management Heads of Department, including the preparation of bids and negotiation of contracts; - Working alongside the AM Global Sales Support Team to reinforce robust bid processes and procedures, drive process efficiencies, and standardised ways of working to ensure operating as cost effectively as possible, with demonstrable improvements within the sales team. - Provide peer review and quality assurance input on regional AM tender and bid responses prior to submission, escalating to the Regional AM Head for formal approval; - Be responsible for reporting on the regional Sales KPIs in conjunction with the Regional AM Head (Northern Europe) and provide regular feedback on performance and opportunities; - Ensure all regional AM sales opportunities follow the relevant business approval process prior to submission; - Correctly record and track opportunities, customer interactions and project data within the CRM system (SalesForce); - Identify cross-selling opportunities for RES Services; and - Help to develop a culture of continuous improvement through the analysis of customer and internal feedback and drawing conclusions for the sales strategy.
