Role Description This position is primarily responsible for executing order management and purchasing requirements needed to meet the demands of Red River’s customers. This position understands the full requirements by customer and orchestrates accurate order placement, review, logistics, and tracking to ensure smooth delivery of all goods and services. The position requires interface between sales, operations, and finance. This position provides a vital final link in the chain needed to deliver on Red River’s promise to its customers. The individual is an expert in one or more technical specializations. As a technical leader, they mentor others and share their knowledge within the Red River Solution Engineering and Sales teams. This position manages customer project efforts and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the lifecycle of complex projects lasting approximately 6 months or longer. We are seeking a highly driven Account Executive with a strong hunter mentality to accelerate the growth of our Managed Services business. This individual will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities, while positioning our Managed IT, Cloud, Cybersecurity, and Support offerings as strategic solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities - Proactively identify and engage new prospective clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals, events, and targeted campaigns. - Leverage your existing rolodex of CXO and IT executive relationships to create pipeline - Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, including qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and final contract execution. - Represent Red River at industry events, partner conferences, and executive briefings - Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of Managed Services opportunities in CRM - Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Service Delivery teams to design tailored Managed Services solutions. - Present and explain complex service offerings in a clear, value-driven way to executive level stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, and IT Directors). - Partner with Marketing to refine messaging and contribute feedback that strengthens go-to-market strategies. - Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities. Qualifications - High energy, self-motivated, and relentless in pursuit of new opportunities - 5–10 years of experience in B2B technology sales, preferably selling Managed Services - Demonstrated success in a hunter role with a track record of exceeding quotas. - Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with strong business acumen. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
