Role Description The Self-Employed Contracts Advisor is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of self-employed clinician contracts. This includes: - Drafting and issuing contracts - Onboarding new clinicians - Supporting an excellent candidate journey - Acting as the central point of expertise and governance for all self-employment contract matters - Ensuring compliance, consistency, and a smooth experience from offer through to contract variations and leaver processing *9 Month FTC* Key Accountabilities - Contract Management - Draft, issue, and manage self-employed clinician contracts in line with organisational policies and legal requirements - Manage contract queries with support from the Senior Contracts advisor and Legal team where required - Issue contract variations accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring changes are clearly communicated and documented - Maintain up-to-date contract templates and ensure consistency across all self-employed agreements - Act as the gatekeeper for all self-employment matters, ensuring appropriate use and adherence to self-employed status - Clinician Onboarding - Manage the onboarding process for new self-employed clinicians from contract issue through to day one in practice - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed (e.g. documentation, compliance checks, systems access) - Manage the DBS processing for new Clinicians, providing support to the candidates and updates to the hiring manager - Provide clear guidance and support to clinicians throughout the onboarding journey - Manage document upload into compliance system (RADAR) - Ensure CEST assessments are carried out - Ensure any onboarding issues are flagged with the Practice Manager and Operations Manager to prevent delays - Candidate Journey & Experience - Champion a positive, professional, and seamless candidate experience throughout the contracting and onboarding process - Act as a key point of contact for clinicians, responding to queries clearly, accurately, and promptly - Identify opportunities to improve processes and communication to enhance the candidate journey - Leavers & Offboarding - Process clinician leavers efficiently, ensuring contractual obligations are met and documentation is completed - Coordinate offboarding activities with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and compliant exit - Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on self-employment arrangements and related processes - Ensure records are accurate, auditable, and stored in line with data protection requirements - Support audits or reviews relating to self-employed contracts and clinician engagement Qualifications - Essential - Experience drafting, issuing, or managing contracts, ideally within a self-employed or contractor environment - Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Desirable - Experience working with clinicians or within healthcare, professional services, or regulated environments - Knowledge of self-employment principles and IR35 considerations - Experience in onboarding, HR operations, or contract administration - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines - Strong customer-focused mindset with a commitment to candidate experience Benefits - Wellbeing Support: 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and GP service plus an in-house Mental Health First Aider programme - Additional Reward: bonus scheme based on business performance - Extra Leave: Birthday off and option to buy 3 more days - Family Support: Enhanced maternity/paternity leave - Financial Security: Life assurance and pension scheme Application process When you click apply, we’ll need your CV and contact details, along with the answer to four quick questions and your application will be complete!
