Role Description A fast-growing healthcare services company is undergoing its first SOC 2 audit and building its information security program from the ground up. The organization operates in a HIPAA-compliant, high-trust environment and is now taking on enterprise clients who require formal compliance credentials. We are placing one Security Analyst / Compliance Lead as a dedicated, embedded resource. This person will function as an extension of the internal team — owning day-to-day security operations and SOC 2 evidence collection. This is a hybrid role, not a senior architect or vCISO seat, and it does not involve facing the auditor directly. We're seeking a Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to onboard and/or design, support, and optimize hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure in a fast-paced MSP environment. This is a hands-on senior role for someone strong in both traditional infrastructure and modern cloud platforms. No Citrix required. Design, support, and optimize hybrid cloud environments (on-premises + Azure/AWS) Manage cloud infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and backups Support on-premises infrastructure: Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms Networking (firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs) Storage (SAN/NAS) and backup/disaster recovery solutions Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms Networking (firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs) Storage (SAN/NAS) and backup/disaster recovery solutions Implement automation and scripting solutions (PowerShell, Python, etc.) Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues Act as a senior escalation point and mentor junior engineers Maintain clear documentation and follow ITIL-aligned processes
