Big-Picture Overview: What You'll Do as a Senior Systems Engineer: - Administer and optimize On-Premises Active Directory and Azure AD Connect, ensuring secure hybrid identity, SSO, and efficient replication. - Oversee Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), ensuring reliable collaboration and system performance. - Design, implement, and support VMware virtual infrastructures and VOIP systems, focusing on scalability, resilience, and successful migrations. - Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues, driving root cause analysis, long-term solutions, and operational improvements. - Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and system hardening. - Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity. - Collaborate with internal teams and franchise locations to provide expert guidance, document technical procedures, and support IT project delivery. • Salesforce Project Management: Understand both front-end and back-end aspects of the organization's Salesforce instance, including user roles and active Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.). Shadow users across roles to understand workflows, pain points, and system usage. Create and implement solutions with a strong emphasis on user experience, ensuring tools are intuitive, accessible, and encourage rapid user adoption.
