• Provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs • Offer personal financial counseling services to military service members and families • Educate and counsel regarding financial services including one-on-one counseling, consultations, and briefings • Coordinate and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops • Manage duty to warn situations according to Department of Defense (DoD) protocol • Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision and quality improvement committees
• Provide coverage in short-term, surge and on demand situations resulting from the Military needs. • Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. • Conduct one-on-one counseling, briefings and presentations, or provide referral resources. • Work closely with installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program meets the needs of the installation. • Develop and make available informational financial materials to service members and families. • Coordinate, publicize and provide a wide variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Authorizes and reviews utilization of mental health and substance abuse services in inpatient and/or outpatient care settings. • Collects and analyzes utilization data. • Assists with discharge planning and care coordination. • Provides member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues. • Monitors inpatient and/or outpatient level of care services to ensure medical necessity and effectiveness. • Performs concurrent reviews for inpatient and/or outpatient care. • Develops discharge plans in conjunction with providers and facilities and oversees their implementation. • Provides information to members and providers regarding mental health and substance abuse benefits.
