Role Description The Hosting Services Outreach Assistant works as part of an outreach team to support the full suite of open-source hosted services: ArchivesSpace, CollectionSpace, DSpaceDirect, and DuraCloud. This role requires someone who enjoys daily engagement with our libraries, archives, and museum communities and is or becomes fluent in the benefits of working with a non-profit service provider. The Hosting Services Outreach Assistant is responsible for successfully guiding clients into the Software-as-a-Service sales process, facilitating both new inquiries/new clients and renewals/existing clients. Responsibilities include: - Responding to customer queries - Fulfilling new proposals - Engaging in general account management activities This collaborative role provides opportunities to work across functional teams, such as marketing, to develop targeted and ongoing marketing and participate in other outreach activities. The Hosting Team is strategically aligned with the Community Supported Technologies and Hosting Services Division, and meaningful collaboration with the technical and program teams is a critical part of this role. This position is a blend of autonomous work and team/cross-team engagement with a goal of providing excellent service, subject matter expertise, and a working understanding of the client's needs. Role Description The Senior Portfolio Specialist position is responsible for owning, managing, and executing quarterly renewal contracts in an assigned portfolio of vendor accounts often under deadlines, including vendor accounts that require a complex degree of administration. The ideal candidate will proactively establish a strong rapport with vendor partners to effectively manage portfolios and ensure long-term success. - Manage efficient communication internally and externally to facilitate accurate and timely renewals and invoices. - Offer recommended solutions for improved workflows. - Proactively engage with members and customers regarding renewal agreements and subscriptions. - Provide guidance to team members about best practices for communication. - Partner with internal stakeholders in other departments to ensure cross-functional team communication. - Participate in ad hoc working groups to address issues as they arise. The Data Migration Specialist will extract, transform, and load client data from their legacy cultural heritage system(s) into Lyrasis-operated, open-source software platforms. Lyrasis- hosted platforms today include ArchivesSpace, CollectionSpace, and DSpace. The Data Migration Specialist will also create and maintain the tools used for such migrations. The ideal candidate will provide excellent technical support and customer service, effectively deal with stressful situations and meet firm deadlines. Duties/Job Responsibilities: - Analyze prospective client data in order to determine the feasibility of and time estimate for a prospective migration project. - Manage migration projects for Lyrasis clients by producing project plans and timelines for clients, adhering to these deadlines, generating realistic expectations, and communicating clearly with clients and other stakeholders. - Analyze clients' legacy data/data models, and advise them on the best way to clean-up, manipulate and prepare their data for migration into Lyrasis ‐hosted platforms. - Collaborate with clients with creating data maps, including consulting on solutions for data fields that do not map directly and identifying data functionality tradeoffs in the target system for different mapping options. - Develop, maintain, and document migration tooling to facilitate the extraction, transformation and loading of legacy data that may also be re-purposed for other migration projects. - Perform special data manipulation and data cleanup projects on an as-needed basis. - Provide excellent technical support to Lyrasis hosting clients. Summary Description: The Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for owning, managing, and executing quarterly renewal contracts in an assigned portfolio of vendor accounts often under deadlines.
