Qualifications - Demonstrated experience operating at a Staff or Principal Engineer level, ideally within an established, successful, cloud-native hypergrowth SaaS environment. - Hands-on builder and systems thinker. - A background that includes hands-on coding, ideally in a platform or SRE team. IT experience is secondary, we need builders who can help others build better. - A track record of successful AI-native adoption, showcasing how you've successfully moved workflows beyond experimental prompts into robust, production-grade automated workflows or agents. - Deep technical mastery of at least some of: infrastructure-as-code, modern CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions) and enterprise-grade workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n, Zapier). - A pragmatic engineering mindset: You understand that while agentic working is fast and flexible, it brings significant utilization costs; you know how to design hybrid architectures that balance speed with financial efficiency. - Great leadership and communication skills: The biggest challenge is always people, not technology. Role Description The Procure-to-Pay Specialist (m/f/d) is a critical operational role within the Procurement team at SoSafe, responsible for ensuring that every step of the procurement lifecycle, from purchase requisition to payment, runs efficiently, compliantly, and on time. In this role, you will be a key enabler of our day-to-day procurement operations, managing PR to PO issuing, supplier onboarding, contract administration, and supplier and stakeholder collaboration, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our procurement processes and systems. - Own and manage the end-to-end PR-to-PO process, including the creation, review, and approval of purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, policy compliance, and timely execution across all business units. - Support and monitor supplier onboarding, coordinating with Legal, Security, and IT as part of the due diligence process, and ensure ongoing compliance with procurement workflows. - Manage the contract signature process, including finalising and distributing contracts where required. - Maintain all contracts, supplier records, master data, and system configurations in Spendesk Procurement, keeping the database accurate and up to date. - Review and match supplier invoices against purchase orders in close collaboration with the Accounts Payable team. - Provide stakeholder support throughout the PR-to-PO workflow, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipts. - Support internal stakeholders with placing equipment orders from preferred catalogue suppliers, ensuring timely delivery in line with business needs. - Prepare spend analysis reports and monitor supplier performance to support strategic procurement decisions. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in a P2P, procurement operations role, with a good understanding of accounts payable. - Hands-on experience with a procurement platform or ERP system. Spendesk experience is a plus. - Experience working with Jira or a similar ticketing system to manage and track cross-functional requests. - Experience working across all procurement categories, with a good understanding of hardware, software, marketing and professional services. - Solid understanding of the full procure-to-pay cycle. - Strong attention to detail and comfort managing data and documentation. - Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Security and IT teams and not only. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Structured, process-oriented mindset with a high degree of reliability. - Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or technology environment is an advantage. - Strong interest in and ideally practical experience using AI-driven tools to optimize procurement workflows, automate repetitive tasks, improve stakeholder support, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Ensure demo environments are stable, production-representative, easy to provision and reset, and kept current with product releases so that what prospects see reflects what they'll get. • Partner closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to understand procurement blockers, security review patterns, and enterprise deployment challenges, and translate these into a roadmap that accelerates deal velocity and reduces time-to-value to deliver commercial impact. • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Security and Technical Program Management to deliver reliable, compliant platform capabilities that IT and security teams trust to deploy at scale. • Define SoSafe's platform extensibility strategy, the API surface, integration patterns, partner ecosystem, and developer experience that enable customers and technology partners to embed SoSafe into their wider security stack. • Work with Product Marketing and GTM teams to articulate SoSafe's enterprise-readiness story, support pre-sales security reviews, and contribute to RFP responses. • Establish performance metrics for platform capabilities and quantify their impact on enterprise conversion, deployment speed, and expansion. • Ship incrementally, learning from early adopters, and maintaining a high bar for security and reliability throughout.
