Role Description Midi Health is looking for a Licensing Specialist (Contractor) to help establish a strong foundation and best-practice workflows for our licensing efforts. Reporting to the Manager of Licensing & Credentialing, this role will support and drive licensing-related projects across multiple states. As a growing startup, this role requires adaptability — licensing priorities and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. The Licensing Specialist (Contractor) will play a key role in supporting provider onboarding, managing licensure processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations, including collaborative practice agreement requirements where applicable. What You’ll Do - Manage end-to-end provider licensing, including application preparation, submission, and follow-up across multiple states - Coordinate and track licensing timelines, proactively following up to avoid delays - Assist with the development and maintenance of workflows and processes for licensing operations - Support the execution and management of Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) across applicable states - Ensure compliance with state-specific CPA requirements, including supervision ratios, documentation, and renewal timelines - Proactively follow up with providers and collaborating physicians to obtain required CPA documentation and signatures - Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and completion of CPA agreements via DocuSign - Maintain accurate and up-to-date CPA and licensing records within Verifiable and internal tracking systems - Monitor CPA expiration dates and ensure timely renewals and updates - Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure CPA requirements are met prior to provider activation - Provide subject matter expertise on licensing requirements, including collaborative practice agreements (CPAs) and state-specific regulations - Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support licensing and onboarding needs Qualifications - 2+ years of licensing experience, preferably within healthcare - Hands-on experience working with Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) - Familiarity with Nursing Compact Licensure (NLC) and multi-state practice requirements - Experience submitting and managing license applications for Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical Doctors - Familiarity with multi-state licensing processes and regulatory requirements - Experience using credentialing and licensing systems such as Verifiable and/or Salesforce - Strong organizational, project management, and follow-through skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor’s Degree preferred Benefits - 100% remote opportunity* - Rate of Pay: $35/hour - Flexible schedule - Contract role (initial 2-month term, with potential for extension based on business needs) Please note: Contractors are expected to provide their own computer and workspace to perform the responsibilities of this role. Role Description Midi Health is the leading virtual clinic dedicated exclusively to women in midlife. We are redefining how perimenopause and menopause are understood and treated through expert, evidence-driven clinical care delivered at scale. We are seeking a Clinical Advisor who is a true subject matter authority in perimenopause and menopause care—an experienced physician whose clinical judgment is trusted in the most complex scenarios. This role is central to supporting our rapidly growing clinician team and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and clinical excellence across the organization. This is not a routine clinical role. It is designed for physicians who routinely manage complex, multi-comorbidity cases, serve as escalation points for other clinicians, and bring national-level expertise in midlife women’s health. What You’ll Do - Serve as the primary clinical authority for real-time clinician questions and escalations, with a required 30-minute response time. - Support direct patient care, including escalated visits and DEA-required encounters. - Review and manage time-sensitive patient cases, laboratory results, and clinical inbox items. - Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and share insights with clinical leadership. - Participate in Doc of the Day coverage. - Fulfill physician collaboration responsibilities as required. - Partner with the Medical Director to refine and uphold clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices. - Contribute to clinical quality, education, and safety initiatives. - Fulfill state-required collaborating physician duties in designated states. Qualifications - Board-Certified MD or DO with a demonstrated record of clinical excellence. - 5+ years of advanced, specialized experience in perimenopause and menopause care, beyond routine or protocol-driven management. - Recognized subject matter authority in managing complex midlife women’s health cases, including patients with multiple and interacting comorbidities. - Expertise in cancer survivorship care strongly preferred, particularly related to hormone management and long-term risk assessment. - At least 5 years of direct patient care within the past 5 years, with active clinical practice. - 2+ years of telehealth experience, including comfort managing complex cases and clinician escalations virtually. - Demonstrated willingness and ability to obtain and maintain active, unrestricted licensure in all 50 states. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to guide and support other clinicians through nuanced clinical decision-making. - Availability for 20 hours per week, with a commitment to engaging in Midi clinical work exclusively during mutually agreed-upon scheduled hours. The opportunity We’re looking for a Payor Enrollment Specialist (Contractor) to help build and scale our payor enrollment operations. This role will be critical in establishing workflows, driving enrollment timelines, and ensuring our clinicians are properly credentialed across payors. You’ll operate at both the execution and systems level — owning day-to-day enrollment while helping define best practices as we scale.
