Who We're Looking For We’re on the hunt for a Senior Data Scientist/Data Analyst who thrives in building scalable financial systems and integrations. Someone who takes ownership, translates business needs into reliable solutions, and ensures data integrity across systems. Primary Responsibilities - Act as the primary embedded developer supporting finance, operations, and asset management teams - Build and maintain Python-based solutions for financial systems and workflows - Own end-to-end delivery of business-critical tools, from requirements through deployment - Translate stakeholder needs into scalable technical solutions with a consultative approach - Manage data pipelines and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reliability - Support financial visibility and cash management initiatives through data analysis and system improvements - Collaborate cross-functionally and drive progress across multiple in-flight projects Some Must-Haves: - 5+ years of experience in Data Scientist / Data Analyst or related roles. - Expert-level Python, including complex domain modeling, refactoring, and test development - Strong SQL experience for data querying and transformation - Hands-on experience with Celigo for building and troubleshooting integrations - Deep understanding of NetSuite data models, objects, and API/SuiteScript ecosystem - Working knowledge of Salesforce data models and integration patterns - Experience designing and consuming REST APIs - Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS S3 or Azure Key Vault) - Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Where We're Looking For It: - Schenectady, New York - Open to 100% Fully Remote Other Information The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. • Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose while working within an established application architecture, extending and evolving it without unnecessary rewrites, and ensuring long-term maintainability through thoughtful design and clean implementation. • Own end-to-end delivery of features within a cross-functional team environment, maintaining high standards of quality through disciplined code reviews, testing practices, and strong engineering principles, while collaborating closely with Android, iOS, backend, QA, and Mobile Service Layer / BFF teams to deliver cohesive and reliable user experiences. • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, memory, and stability issues in a live enterprise environment by conducting thorough root-cause analysis and implementing durable, production-grade fixes that continuously improve application responsiveness, reliability, and scalability. • Actively contribute to the health of the Android codebase by refactoring and improving existing systems where necessary to maintain architectural integrity and championing clean, modern Android development practices within a structured, production-grade environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver complex technical projects from inception to completion. • Define project scope, goals, timelines, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Lead day-to-day project execution, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking. • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Manage risks, dependencies, and priorities across multiple initiatives while ensuring timely delivery. • Facilitate communication between engineering, product, and client stakeholders to drive alignment and transparency. • Leverage past technical experience to support architectural discussions, unblock teams, and guide decision-making. • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance team efficiency and delivery outcomes.

• Design and build an AI-powered dispatch micro app that optimizes routing and load assignments for fleet operations. • Develop and maintain backend services using PHP, Symfony, and LAMP-based architecture. • Build frontend interfaces using Angular and/or React depending on system needs. • Develop Python Flask services to support AI/ML model integration and dispatch optimization logic. • Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between dispatch systems, ERP platforms, and microservices. • Train, integrate, and support AI models that improve dispatch efficiency over time. • Identify, refactor, and reduce technical debt across legacy and modern systems. • Participate in system modernization efforts, including deprecation handling and regression testing. • Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code to ensure correctness, performance, and maintainability. • Collaborate in an agile environment with cross-functional engineering and product teams. • Take ownership of features from design through deployment with minimal oversight.

• Enhance and maintain the mobile application and its integration with a cloud-based rental management system (ERP). • Build and support features for inventory tracking systems such as Ready Tags (color-coded equipment status tracking). • Integrate and extend functionality using the R360 inspection app SDK. • Improve mobile-to-cloud synchronization for inspection, maintenance, and equipment lifecycle data. • Design and build scalable APIs to support mobile and cloud integration. • Identify, resolve, and reduce technical debt across mobile and backend systems. • Participate in modernization efforts to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability. • Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code, ensuring correctness, performance, and maintainability. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment (standups, sprint planning, etc.). • Take ownership of deliverables and drive work independently with minimal oversight.

• Design and implement optimization models for large-scale vehicle routing and scheduling problems (VRP). • Translate business requirements into mathematical models including variables, constraints, and objective functions. • Build and maintain production-grade optimization services such as APIs and microservices for routing and dispatch systems. • Leverage tools like OR-Tools, including CP-SAT and MILP, to solve complex combinatorial optimization problems. • Optimize performance and scalability of solvers handling high-volume, multi-distribution center routing scenarios. • Diagnose infeasibility issues and refine models to handle real-world constraints effectively. • Develop scenario planning capabilities including what-if analysis, disruption handling, and overrides with auditability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve routing efficiency and system performance. • Implement robust exception handling and fallback strategies for real-time routing challenges. • Contribute to system design, including data pipelines, orchestration, and containerized deployments.

• Upgrade and modernize legacy systems, including Symfony and PHP versions, while addressing technical debt and deprecations. • Execute and maintain comprehensive regression testing to ensure system stability throughout upgrades. • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP, Symfony, and the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL). • Develop and enhance frontend applications using Angular (AngularJS and modern Angular). • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support system integrations and external services. • Contribute to mobile and cloud system integrations, enabling seamless communication between applications and backend services. • Support inventory and inspection workflows through system enhancements and integrations. • Collaborate on the development of AI-driven applications, including microservices that leverage machine learning models. • Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code to ensure quality, correctness, and performance. • Participate in architectural discussions, sprint planning, and daily standups as part of an embedded team. • Take ownership of features and systems, from design through deployment and iteration. • Advocate for clean code, maintainability, and modern development best practices.

• Lead the design and implementation of AI architectures, frameworks, and reusable patterns that support scalable, production-ready AI systems. • Serve as the technical authority for AI initiatives, helping teams make sound decisions around model selection, infrastructure, security, and performance. • Design, build, and maintain AI-powered services and applications using Python and modern AI/LLM tooling. • Integrate and operationalize large language models and AI services, including Anthropic, within real-world production environments. • Architect and deploy AI workloads on AWS, including model hosting, inference pipelines, monitoring, and cost optimization. • Collaborate with product, engineering, and client stakeholders to translate business problems into effective AI solutions. • Establish best practices for AI development, including prompt design, evaluation, testing, observability, and responsible AI usage. • Mentor and guide engineers working with AI technologies, raising the overall AI maturity of the organization. • Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and industry trends, and proactively recommend improvements and innovations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements. • Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable code using a variety of frontend and backend technologies, including React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Python, Go, Java, and C#, etc. • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support seamless integration between frontend and backend systems. • Utilize GCP to deploy and maintain scalable and resilient applications. • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development, and leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with teams to implement secure cloud solutions while enforcing infrastructure best practices and coding standards.
