• Leverage your network to set up meetings for senior Howden RE brokers, with responsibility for business development efforts across North America • Set 8–12+ high-value meetings per week for senior RWI brokers and other senior Howden personnel covering the RE vertical • Develop, maintain, and report on a disciplined and organized regional outreach strategy across the North American RE sponsor, REIT, developer, and law firm landscape • Organize and attend periodic regional roadshows across U.S. and Canadian financial centers, including pre-meeting preparation, coordination with internal deal teams, and post-meeting follow-up communications • Represent Howden Private Capital at industry conferences

• Make initial contacts with interest parties • Handle moderate to high exposure construction defect claims involving residential and commercial projects. • Analyze coverage and draft coverage position letters as needed • Conduct liability investigations • Comply with DOI regulations • Retain and coordinate with defense counsel and experts to develop and execute agreed-upon litigation strategies, while managing plans and budgets to ensure effective case resolution • Coordinate the retention of experts, subject to an agreed upon budget • Establish timely indemnity and expense reserves based on an exposure analysis that is documented in the claim file, revisiting reserve adequacy on a continual basis • Draft well written and comprehensive captioned reports to request reserve and settlement authority on higher exposure cases that outline all critical aspects of the case in preparation for roundtable presentations to the carrier partners • Travel up to 10% to attend mediations, settlements conferences and trials on appropriate cases • Keep current on key changes in case law and industry trends • Assist underwriting and other business partners

• Originate and lead new business opportunities with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and credit investors. • Build and maintain senior relationships across: Private equity firms, investment banks, legal advisors, corporate development teams. • Act as a lead advisor on transaction insurance placements. • Drive cross-selling across Howden’s broader capabilities. • Lead end-to-end execution of insurance solutions across the deal lifecycle. • Provide strategic advice on insurability, risk allocation, and policy structure. • Oversee underwriting engagement and negotiation to secure optimal pricing and coverage terms. • Identify emerging trends across private equity deal structures, insurance market capacity, and alternative risk transfer solutions.

• Initiate timely contact with all relevant parties upon claim assignment • Handle low to moderate third-party general liability claims involving property damage and bodily injury • Evaluates claims exposure and determines appropriate resolution strategies • Analyze insurance policies to determine applicable coverage • Draft and issues coverage position letters • Negotiate bodily injury, property damage settlements • Ensure all claim activities comply with DOI regulations and internal policies • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation of all claim activities and decisions • Collaborate with underwriting, and internal teams to share insights and coordinate claim strategies • Provide feedback to business partners to support continuous improvement in claims handling

• Manage calendars, meetings, and expense reporting for the Head of Regulatory Operations & Market Enablement. • Build and maintain reporting (e.g., Monday.com boards) to track priorities, and deliverables across the Regulatory Operations & Market Enablement function. • Create and maintain reporting (e.g., Power BI) and structured outputs used to share information such as carrier codes, approvals, and status with the field. • Provide flexible support for planning, coordination, and operational tasks as the function continues to scale and mature. • Strong ability to manage calendars, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced, executive-support environment. • Experience building and maintaining work management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and creating reports or dashboards (e.g., Power BI).

• Prepare and organize required documents and data needed for surplus lines quotes prior to binding. • Review quotes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable surplus lines requirements prior to bind. • Prepare and validate standard reports and data outputs used by the field and surplus lines team to support quoting activity. • Support the Surplus Lines Field Specialist in proactively tracking renewal dates and seasonal volume trends to support readiness for peak surplus lines renewal periods. • Receive, process, and track surplus lines pre-bind requests from the field; complete defined tasks and route questions or exceptions to the Field Specialist as appropriate. • Verify that required surplus lines forms, disclosures, and supporting documentation are present and properly completed prior to bind. • Strong ability to review paperwork, quotes, and reports for completeness and accuracy. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, requests, and deadlines in a fast-paced, field-facing environment. • Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with field teams and internal partners. • Comfort working in insurance systems (e.g., Applied Epic, InsCipher), databases, and standard reporting tools. • Ability to follow defined processes, recognize exceptions, and escalate appropriately to the Field Specialist.

• Validate surplus lines tax calculations for accuracy and alignment with state regulations • Prepare, file, and submit surplus lines tax filings and stamping to ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements. • Review surplus lines policies for compliance and file to the appropriate state. • Educate brokers on compliance requirements and best practices. • Remit surplus lines tax payments in a timely manner. • Reconcile payments made with Epic records to ensure accuracy. • Maintain and update filings databases and records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting and compliance • Generate and deliver reports on filing status, compliance metrics, and activities for management and regulatory purposes • Assist in surplus lines–related audits. • Oversee relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.

• Manage the submission of license applications, ensuring all required documentation and information are complete and accurate. • Maintain and update licensing databases and records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for reporting and compliance. • Research and interpret state and federal regulations, monitor changes, and implement processes to ensure ongoing compliance. • Serve as a primary point of contact within the licensing team. • Monitor the status of applications, renewals, and appointments, ensuring all renewals are completed by their deadlines. • Work with internal departments (e.g., compliance, legal) and external vendors to resolve licensing-related issues and identify areas for process improvement. • Generate and deliver reports on licensing status, compliance metrics, and activities for management and regulatory purposes. • Oversee relationships with third-party licensing vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
