The Solutions Architect, Senior will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices, acting as a technical advisor, to provide leadership and guidance in the planning and coordination of design, development and implementation of our mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: “To simplify complexities for each customer.” - Provide architecture leadership and Appian expertise while collaboratively working with stakeholders in all areas of the business and IT, aligning Appian solutions to support company objectives. - Continually facilitate and assist with efforts to define Appian-centric enterprise solutions. - Acts as the design authority for Appian-based solutions, guiding solution architecture and design decisions across business-critical applications. - Ensure effective governance of defined industry, company, and Appian-specific standards and patterns. - Demonstrate and build prototypes, create reference architectures, and design effective solutions that leverage the Appian platform. - Continually stay abreast on LCAP trends and lead the research and development efforts accordingly through proof-of-concept implementations, workshops, etc. - Provide guidance, coaching, architectural assessments, and Appian mentorship for various IT teams and initiatives. - Create prototypes and design innovative and effective Appian-based solutions that align with organization’s objectives and maintain competitive market advantage. - Collaborate with peers and various IT groups in continuously creating, assessing and updating LCAP standards, guidelines and best practices. - Champion product design, solution design and industry best practices in building and delivering best in class software. - Effectively communicate using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills. Qualifications/Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree preferably in a computer science/engineering related field plus 8-10 years of related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced in leading and implementing the design and delivery of complex Appian-based solutions, including case management, integrations, and data-centric applications. Experience in Healthcare and Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation industry is a plus. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven experience working with project teams in an influential role to deliver Appian-centric solution architecture based on business requirements, technology standards, service level agreements and approved funding. Must have experience in identifying and implementing sound design patterns and capable of leading and facilitating design and modeling workshops with both business and technical team members. Required background with strong hands-on expertise incorporating Appian while building and deploying distributed applications. Must have excellent knowledge and experience with database and infrastructure design and best practices. Demonstrated a set of skills that include but not limited to: - Strong leadership, vision, effective communication and goal-oriented - Emotional maturity in guiding and influencing challenging team and development environments - Political awareness and skill to drive change Relevant experience with modern Event Driven Architecture, Continuous Integration/Delivery, NoSQL, APIs and Microservices. Anticipated Starting Pay Range $136,600 - $187,770 USD To facilitate working from home, and as a requirement for this role, candidates must provide their own reliable, high speed internet access with sufficient bandwidth to execute all job functions. • Acts as a senior embedded agile team member, providing technical leadership in sprint planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring sprint and release quality objectives are met. • Leads the application and evolution of HES Quality Assurance standards, including test stage ownership, entrance/exit criteria, Definition of Done, and audit readiness across teams. • Owns test strategy and approach for assigned products or initiatives, ensuring appropriate coverage across functional, integration, regression, performance, and risk-based testing. • Designs, develops, and maintains robust, scalable automated test solutions using approved frameworks and tools (e.g., PlayWright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, Allure), supporting UI, API, batch, and data validation testing. • Leads and evolves automation strategy and regression suites, identifying opportunities to improve stability, execution speed, maintainability, and overall return on investment. • Integrates and maintains automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, supporting sprint level and release level quality gates using Azure DevOps and related tooling. • Oversees test management and governance within Azure DevOps, ensuring high quality test artifacts, traceability, execution evidence, and meaningful reporting. • Provides technical mentorship and coaching to Test Engineers and team members, promoting testing standards, best practices, and modern methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD, exploratory testing and shift left testing). • Collaborates with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders to identify quality risks early, influence design for testability, and drive defect prevention. • Leads or supports complex production issue investigations, including root-cause analysis, validation of fixes, and recommendations for quality improvements. • Communicates testing status, quality risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders, escalating issues that may impact delivery timelines or product quality. • Contributes to process improvement initiatives, tooling enhancements, and shared utilities that strengthen Quality Engineering capabilities across teams. • Actively participates in Communities of Practice and remains current with industry trends, emerging tools, and quality engineering practices to continuously elevate HES QA maturity.

• Execute and operationalize sales enablement programs and campaigns within CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot/Salesforce). • Partner closely with Sales to deliver buyer-aligned enablement support. • Ensure enablement and proposal materials remain current and on-strategy. • Support priority and late-stage opportunities with tailored proposal and enablement materials. • Lead and manage the end-to-end RFP/RFI process and tooling. • Maintain and continuously improve the RFP and proposal content library. • Administer and optimize proposal and enablement tools, workflows, and templates. • Write, edit, and refine proposals, executive summaries, and enablement content. • Serve as a feedback conduit between Sales and Marketing.

• The Director, Product Management is responsible for driving the development of our products, programs and services. • Build products, programs and services from existing ideas as well as be responsible for developing new ideas based on market research, industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. • Spend time in the market to understand its problems and find innovative solutions. • Focus on designing, building, and improving systems that automate business processes and streamline workflows. • Work with delivery team counterparts to define product release requirements and with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy. • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for Healthesystems’ product offering, occasionally working with sales and key customers.

• Responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance support of endpoint hardware, software, applications and access in a mixed Windows and macOS environment. • Respond to escalated requests for assistance within established SLAs. • Participate in after-hours, on-call support rotation as necessary. • Create project plans within identified PM toolset. Identifies all resources, objectives, subtasks and timelines. • Own and manage new hire onboarding, laptop refresh, application upgrade, and similar initiatives in the end-user support space. • Create and maintain technical documentation including standard operating procedures, user guides, knowledge base articles, diagrams and system configurations. • Evaluate completed work requests to assess resolution, identify recurring problems, and ensure resolution is documented and shared with L1 and L2 support teams. • Actively engages in driving strategic initiatives in the end user/endpoint space, and the related goals, to ensure the most optimal outcome. • Effectively communicates using written, oral, non-verbal, and active listening skills.
