Senior Test Engineer
Healthesystems
• Acts as a senior embedded agile team member, providing technical leadership in sprint planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring sprint and release quality objectives are met. • Leads the application and evolution of HES Quality Assurance standards, including test stage ownership, entrance/exit criteria, Definition of Done, and audit readiness across teams. • Owns test strategy and approach for assigned products or initiatives, ensuring appropriate coverage across functional, integration, regression, performance, and risk-based testing. • Designs, develops, and maintains robust, scalable automated test solutions using approved frameworks and tools (e.g., PlayWright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Rest Assured, Allure), supporting UI, API, batch, and data validation testing. • Leads and evolves automation strategy and regression suites, identifying opportunities to improve stability, execution speed, maintainability, and overall return on investment. • Integrates and maintains automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, supporting sprint level and release level quality gates using Azure DevOps and related tooling. • Oversees test management and governance within Azure DevOps, ensuring high quality test artifacts, traceability, execution evidence, and meaningful reporting. • Provides technical mentorship and coaching to Test Engineers and team members, promoting testing standards, best practices, and modern methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD, exploratory testing and shift left testing). • Collaborates with product owners, architects, developers, and stakeholders to identify quality risks early, influence design for testability, and drive defect prevention. • Leads or supports complex production issue investigations, including root-cause analysis, validation of fixes, and recommendations for quality improvements. • Communicates testing status, quality risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders, escalating issues that may impact delivery timelines or product quality. • Contributes to process improvement initiatives, tooling enhancements, and shared utilities that strengthen Quality Engineering capabilities across teams. • Actively participates in Communities of Practice and remains current with industry trends, emerging tools, and quality engineering practices to continuously elevate HES QA maturity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and six plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL)
- Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP)
