• Assist in completion of standard journal entries and management of closing calendar to meet reporting deadlines. • Assist of reconciliations for all month-end balance sheet accounts, following established priorities for which specific reconciliations must be completed within the monthly close timeframe. • Performs detailed analyses of various general ledger accounts and selected cost centers, as assigned. • Reviews General Ledger activity for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness, interpreting trends or deviations and making recommendations for corrective action. • Performs bank and reporting uploads on a weekly basis • Supports various Accounting and cross-functional projects on an as needed basis. • Prepare monthly closing reports
• Audit Support IT Auditing in support of the Financial Statement Audit (Using a pre-defined set of IT General Controls, interview client IT department leadership to determine if the controls are in operation. Obtain and inspect evidence for the higher risk controls. Prepare reports identifying the gaps and recommendations.) • Attest and Advisory Engagements • Controls assessments (Using a pre-defined set of IT General Controls, interview client IT department leadership to determine if the controls are in operation. Obtain and inspect evidence for the higher risk controls. Prepare reports identifying the gaps, risks, and recommendations.) • SOC Reporting (Test IT General Control for design, implementation, and operating effectiveness by obtaining evidence for controls that have been identified and documented by management. • SOX 404 Internal Audit for IT General Controls (Test IT General Control for design, implementation, and operating effectiveness by obtaining evidence for controls that have been identified and documented by management.
• Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies. • Assembles and configures network components and associated services. • Configures and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provides assistance to the Service Desk Administrator. • Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. • Installs upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services. • Creates and maintains user accounts in the Active Directory, Terminal Server, and CCH Document. • Consults with System Administrator or Service Desk Coordinator on hardware issues, research problems and fixes. • Assists System Administrator with the data backup processes. • Monitors the Internal Technology Department’s service desk ticket database and responds to submitted customer service tickets.
• Conduct ITGC testing in areas such as access, change management, and operations. • Assist in walkthroughs to create detailed control narratives. • Carry out control testing and evaluate supporting evidence. • Prepare work papers that align with firm and/or client methodology. • Assist with SOX & SOC testing procedures and related documentation. • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Copilot and similar tools for analysis and to determine and support audit conclusions.
• Support the Service Delivery function within the Tax practice • Oversee team operations and ensure quality deliverables • Handle functional work for client firms • Assist in US Readiness Program initiatives • Learn and adapt to Philippines operations, hiring, and service delivery processes within 3 months • Participate in Business Development calls • Advise on the types of tax professionals available in the Philippines • Support initiatives to grow tax teams in the Philippines • Collaborate cross-functionally with US leadership • Collaborate globally with Service Delivery counterparts in India, LATAM, and future expansion regions • Manage and develop a tax team based in the Philippines • Lead the performance review process for team members • Assist with technical interviews to assess candidate qualifications • Help form tax teams for clients • Provide insights during client discovery calls and intake meetings • Build and maintain strong client relationships • Collaborate with clients to understand their tax needs and deliver solutions
