About The Role The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Document Control Specialist ensures all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements. This role focuses on validating, auditing, and maintaining audit-ready records for commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and other critical import and export documentation. Accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely processing are key to supporting seamless import operations. Role Description The Trade Compliance Director-FTZ Operations is responsible for managing all Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations, ensuring compliance with FTZ regulations, U.S. Customs procedures, and other relevant federal agency requirements (e.g., FDA, FCC). This role serves as the primary resource and advisor to company leadership, site/division management, and clients on FTZ strategies, operational optimization, and regulatory compliance.
