Director of Engineering – Fiber Design

• Oversee the execution of all Engineering management activities to ensure effectiveness of end-to-end delivery in terms of timelines, budgets, and quality of build. • Responsible for managing and ensuring all internal/external market Engineering teams deliver weekly/monthly HHP production commitments. • Design fiber outside plant networks and ensure that designs and deployments are in accordance with company policy and industry standards (FTTH, fiber access networks, and fiber backbone networks). • Assign resources, managing coordinating subcontractor activities in accordance with project/client procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications. • Develop resource plans, evaluate capacity needs against delivery goals, and plan delivery timelines based on resources. • Coordinate outside plant engineering activities with other utilities, municipalities, or property owners. • Develop plan to secure all permits and pole attachments working closely with contractors, designers, pole owners and federal, state, and local agencies. • Ensure the team fully understands project scope details, identify, and anticipate potential risks and unknowns in meeting delivery commitments (timeline, budget and/or quality), and prepare and implement mitigation plans in partnership with key stakeholders. • Exhibit great financial acumen in the planning and administration of annual capital budgets for expansion and FTTH development. • Analyze data and come up with wise operational and commercial judgments, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of those choices to internal stakeholders, clients, and property owners. • Partner with the Supply Chain department to develop a strategic sourcing approach and effectively manage the entire material procurement lifecycle, including forecasting, ordering, merchandise returns, etc. • Establish strong relationships with key partners and constituents across the organization to meet goals and objectives. • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all construction and design standards. • Ensure standard invoicing/approval processes are followed and in place for all projects and as-builts are submitted accurately and timely. • Establish and direct quality control programs for construction that are consistent with corporate construction/design standards in the markets. • Develop and maintain good relations with local utilities, vendors, contractors, and government agencies. • Ensure adherence to company safety standards. • Observe, promote, and audit company safety procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines at all times. • Identify engineering opportunities and promote change and initiate ideas. • Demonstrates and holds employees accountable for stewardship of the brand to include embodiment of the client’s way by ensuring appropriate use of the brand (name, logo, company, appearance, and attitude) within their respective team and organization.
Fiber Design Analyst II

• Develop property-specific High-Level Designs to support Right of Access discussions • Convert technical engineering vendor drawings into simplified, owner-facing design exhibits • Create visual materials that help non-technical stakeholders understand the scope, impact, and benefits of the proposed fiber design • Use QGIS and Vetro to map target properties • Support sales funnel prioritization by identifying properties with the strongest alignment to existing network • Partner with sales and business development teams to prepare design packages • Work closely with engineering and construction teams to validate design assumptions • Review engineering vendor designs for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with property-specific requirements • Provide mapping and design support for targeted campaigns, market reviews, and strategic sales initiatives
Infrastructure Operations Engineer

OSP Engineering Project Manager

• Oversee and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring timely delivery of projects within defined scope and budget. • Analyze the data input to create accurate internal and external reporting and forecasting for all stakeholders. • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. • Clarify and develop project scope, detailed work plans, schedules, objectives, estimates coordinates activities of the project team, identifying resources and implementation strategy. • Collaborate across multiple functions to ensure adherence to quality standards and internal processes, review project deliverables, and drive the achievement of required project results. • Provide overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams, often spanning multiple organizations, markets, and external suppliers/vendors. • Direct experience leading new fiber deployment and/or expansion initiatives. • Oversee general contractor deliverables, closely monitor progress, and proactively identify risks to ensure alignment with the market build plan. • Lead project status meetings, prepare project reports, and oversee tracking and analysis, including the management of project interdependencies. • Ensure timely completion of milestones as outlined in the contract and facilitate prompt billing. • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. • Identifies, recommends and takes action to drive the analysis, solutions resolution to all issues/roadblocks in a timely fashion.
OSP Design Engineer

• This position is responsible for project preparation of FTTX Networks from design through closeout. • Including but not limited to Change Orders and OSP additions, building and site design and development of the entire network. • This position will work closely with Engineering contractors, Construction and Project Management to assure schedules and budgets are met while working in a fast-paced environment. • Design and implementation of OSP facilities, including coordinating automated designs with field surveys. • Quality Control FTTX and MDU Designs submitted by Engineering Contractor. • Responsible for development of construction and cost estimates primarily for the outside plant. • Responsible for the operation of all applicable current computerized operations and CAD systems. • Work with Engineering Contractors to ensure that all FTTH designs fall within predetermined parameters.
Supervisor – OSP Design Engineering
