• Develop property-specific High-Level Designs to support Right of Access discussions • Convert technical engineering vendor drawings into simplified, owner-facing design exhibits • Create visual materials that help non-technical stakeholders understand the scope, impact, and benefits of the proposed fiber design • Use QGIS and Vetro to map target properties • Support sales funnel prioritization by identifying properties with the strongest alignment to existing network • Partner with sales and business development teams to prepare design packages • Work closely with engineering and construction teams to validate design assumptions • Review engineering vendor designs for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with property-specific requirements • Provide mapping and design support for targeted campaigns, market reviews, and strategic sales initiatives

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Fiber Network Design & MDU Experience
  • Proficient in GIS tools (QGIS, Vetro, Arrow) for spatial analysis, route optimization, and mapping
  • Skilled in maintaining and updating OSP records, distribution areas, and bills of materials (BOMs) with strong attention to data accuracy
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with planning, engineering, and field teams
  • Experience reviewing and validating network designs, supporting design reviews, redlines, and feasibility assessments

Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree. - Four years of related experience in sponsored research and/or financial positions. - Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. - Successful completion of the Research Administration Training Program (13-15 months) is equivalent to two years of relevant experience for this position.
