Asset and Vendor Support Location: Winona United States Part-time Onsite Job ID 621388 Job Description Asset and Vendor Support 212 W 2nd St, Winona, MN 55987 HEADD Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 6:00pm 15 - 25 hours/week OVERVIEW: Working as Part-time Asset and Vendor Support, you will participate in a fast-paced work environment performing a variety of corporate accounting responsibilities to process transactions and reporting related to assets and vendors for Fastenal's world-wide locations. This is an entry-level position that will allow you to delve into many administrative tasks within the Asset and Vendor team. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Assisting with asset administration activities such as purchases, sales, transfers, registrations, credit card maintenance, and gas card maintenance o Processing vendor control activities such as vendor set-up, approvals and tax documentation o Assisting with processing and auditing various fleet and asset vendor invoices o Assisting with various month-end close and reporting activities o Assisting with the annual tax information reporting, including 1099s o Processing customer service requests from other departments and external contacts related to fleet administration, purchasing cards, and vendors o Completing special projects and other administrative tasks REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess or working towards an accounting/finance degree OR have prior administrative work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities and attention to detail o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION REQUIREMENTS: o Prior experience using PeopleSoft ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
