• Architect and maintain scalable runtime production environments across cloud-native and containerized systems, including transforming applications into Kubernetes-friendly formats for bare-metal deployment • Own the technical roadmap for the platform vertical, identifying gaps, planning initiatives, and aligning engineering effort to mission objectives • Provide mentorship to engineers across the team, fostering professional development and raising the technical bar • Identify technical overlap across projects and guide teams on leveraging each other for efficient delivery • Work closely with Mission Managers, providing insights on engineering competency, capacity, velocity, and alignment with mission objectives • Collaborate with product teams, providing feedback on product fit and contributing to product direction based on production usage • Work with customers to define technical roadmaps that align to mission objectives • Advocate for and enforce DevSecOps practices across the platform layer, including security automation, container security, and compliance • Evaluate and select optimal methods for solving complex business problems, assessing new products and their potential impact on mission objectives • Drive continuous improvement in CI/CD pipelines, deployment patterns, and operational tooling

• Develop and maintain deep expertise in Defense Unicorns products and capabilities, including UDS, Fleet, Zarf, and supporting platform technologies • Translate customer requirements, mission needs, and operational challenges into actionable work items and delivery plans • Own mission outcomes and delivery execution with minimal oversight • Manage backlog management, sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery tracking activities • Work directly with Army stakeholders to understand mission objectives, gather requirements, and communicate progress • Effectively communicate technical concepts and solution capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences • Drive identification of customer challenges, future capability needs, and opportunities for expanded support • Monitor delivery risks, dependencies, and issues while coordinating mitigation plans • Partner with technical leads, architects, and engineers to ensure solutions align with customer needs and engineering best practices • Contribute technical input to proposals, technical responses, white papers, and ROM development efforts • Support onboarding and mentoring of team members • Participate in hiring activities, candidate interviews, and team-building efforts • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the delivery lifecycle

• Designing and operating always-on product environments for customer demos, internal use, and stakeholder access • Building feature branch / preview environments to support UX and rapid feedback loops • Enabling internal dogfooding through real, long-running deployments of UDS products • Integrating core system components across Fleet Management, Edge Management, OS, and related services • Reducing reliance on local environments by creating shared, reproducible infrastructure • Supporting pathways toward self-service demo and trial environments • Improve system reliability by enabling continuous, real-world usage and validation • Partnering with engineering, product, and UX to ensure environments reflect real user scenarios

• Own HubSpot as primary administrator: data integrity, pipeline hygiene, and adoption across the go-to-market team. • Maintain the deal pipelines (Direct Opportunities, Competitive Solicitations, Renewals) with consistent stages, required fields, and automation. • Manage integrations between HubSpot and the tools around it (Slack, Google Workspace, Notion, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and others). • Keep deal data clean and usable: naming conventions, MEDDPICC qualification fields (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Paper Process, Identify Pain, Champion, Competition), D&F dates, DRB data, product feature tags, and ARR calculations. • Run the quarterly forecast process between sellers and revenue leadership, and surface where coverage is thin and where the upside is. • Maintain forecast models built on pipeline stage, PWIN, deal velocity, and past conversion rates. • Give leadership the analytics they need at the deal and portfolio level: coverage ratios, pipeline aging, and win/loss patterns. • Flag pipeline and deal risk early, before it shows up in the number. • Work with sales and solutions architecture leadership to document and sharpen the sales process, from qualified opportunity through Focused Discovery, Deal Review Board (DRB), scoping, proposal, and close. • Set up lead routing, territory and account assignment, and clean handoffs between sales and marketing. • Run the cadence for pipeline reviews, QBRs, and annual planning. • Support competitive solicitations: opportunity tracking, bid/no-bid analysis, and capture management. • Run deal desk operations covering pricing, discounting, contract structure, and approvals. • Maintain SKU-level pricing across UDS Premium, Application Licenses, Edge Node Licenses, Software Factory, SRE Operations, PaaS, and training and services. • Work with Finance on bookings recognition, ARR tracking, and revenue reporting. • Improve CRM adoption and data quality through training, clear documentation, and follow-through. • Build the playbooks, templates, and automation that take busywork off sellers and solution architects. • Get new revenue team members up to speed on the systems and the process.

• As a Mission Manager for Cyber, you will collaborate with Cyber Tech Leads to establish a technical roadmap for Mission outcomes with Mission Heroes • Serves as a lead Mission Manager for a Cyber Domain Delivery Effort • Collaborates with Cyber Leads to establish technical roadmap for Mission Outcomes with Mission Heroes • Aligns Defense Unicorns’ Product Roadmaps to technical roadmap for your Hero and provides feedback to Product segment on Mission need dates for features to drive adoption • Share and facilitate feedback from Delivery segment with Product segment regarding Defense Unicorns’ OSS projects and productized services • Work with Tech Leads to established an aligned Delivery roadmap, using Product roadmaps • Follow company best practices in strategies for building Delivery solutions • Balance priorities from users, customers, stakeholders, and the team to deliver mission value in a scalable way • Understand the contract(s) for the Cyber Delivery Effort(s) • Assist with Mission Hero engagements for the contract process to start new work, continue work, or scale up work • Fosters an environment for Unicorn growth, mentorship, and coaching within the team • Fosters an environment for Defense Unicorns values and principles to thrive

• Deploy and harden UDS Data Capability in the mission hero's environment — stand up the UDS Store (Iceberg, Rook/Ceph, pgvector, Postgres), wire up UDS Transit for air-gap data movement, configure UDS Govern policies (Pepr/Lula), and integrate UDS Connect (Strimzi/Kafka) where streaming or legacy connectors are required. • Own the integration with what they already have — connect UDS Data Capability to whatever's already running: Big Bang, legacy Oracle and SQL Server, flat-file drops, SOAP/REST endpoints, message buses, existing object storage, identity providers (Keycloak, mission-side SSO). • Build pipelines that move data through classification boundaries — ingestion, transformation, catalog registration, model/dataset packaging via Zarf, cross-domain transit, eventual consistency across DDIL conditions. • Operate what you deploy — initial day-2 ownership: capacity, performance, backup/restore (Velero), observability (Vector/Loki), incident response, upgrade paths. Hand off to the mission hero's ops team once it's stable. • Generate accreditation artifacts — STIG evidence, cATO documentation, FIPS validation notes, policy mappings. You produce the evidence the mission hero's ISSM/ISSO needs to actually run this in IL4/IL5. • Be the voice of the mission hero back to product and engineering — file the issues, write the postmortems, propose the operator improvements, push the platform team on what's actually breaking in the field. Your field experience is the highest-signal input we have. • Train and transfer — leave the mission hero's team self-sufficient: runbooks, architecture docs, working sessions, knowledge transfer. • Grow junior Data Engineer FDEs — pair on hard problems, review integration designs before they reach the customer, and help junior engineers build judgment faster than they would alone. You're not managing anyone; you're making the team better.

• Plan, author, and maintain installation guides, admin/operator guides, troubleshooting/runbooks, and release notes aligned to product releases and operational needs. • Plan, author, and maintain Warfighter focused end user guides. • Installation & deployment documentation: Create step-by-step install/configuration guides for product components and integrations (including prerequisites, expected outputs, verification steps, and safe rollback guidance). • Administration & Day-2 operations: Document operational workflows: upgrades, configuration changes, health checks, resource considerations, and common operational failure modes in constrained/mission environments. • Troubleshooting & runbooks: Build and curate troubleshooting-by-symptom runbooks (diagnosis steps, likely causes, resolution paths, and prevention guidance). • Aid development of training modules and job aids for user personas. • Operate in a Git-based doc workflow (issues/PRs/reviews), establish templates, and improve/maintain documentation. • Information architecture & discoverability: Organize technical documentation so it’s easy to navigate and avoids duplication across products
