Role Description AARP is seeking talented individuals to join our Mobilization Campaign team to create and execute various advocacy campaigns that drive meaningful change. This paid internship is expected to start in Fall 2026. - Help modernize our response process to emails from activists. - Support reporting efforts to tell our story both internally and externally. - Draft presentations and processes within brand guidelines; draft and review advocacy communications. - Draft compelling national advocacy text messages for AARP's priority issue campaigns, including: - Voter engagement - Social security - Caregiving - Prescription drugs - Work on special projects under our national and state advocacy email, text messaging, direct mail, and advocacy fundraising portfolios. - Assist with AARP's online event management and organizing tool, Mobilize America.
