Role Description Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features for the Cracker Barrel mobile application. - Work closely with designers to ensure that the user interface and experience align with Cracker Barrel's brand identity and standards. - Develop and maintain the overall architecture of mobile applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and high-performing. - Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate with external APIs/data sources to provide dynamic functionality within the app. - Provide technical guidance to development teams, mentoring and supporting engineers in best practices for mobile development. - Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. - Assess and recommend mobile frameworks, tools, and platforms for cross-platform development (e.g., React Native, Flutter). - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. - Identify and correct bottlenecks and implement strategies for optimization, focusing on both frontend and backend components. - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. - Continuously monitor app performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
