Key Responsibilities Implement, migrate, and support network and security solutions across customer environments Provide design assistance and validation for network and security architectures in collaboration with internal architects and client stakeholders Serve as a technical SME for next-generation firewall platforms Perform network assessments and provide implementation-focused recommendations Execute complex migrations (e.g., firewall replacements, SD-WAN transitions, data center modernization) Develop and maintain technical documentation including implementation guides, as-built documentation, and runbooks Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to customers and internal teams Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, remote users) Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and cybersecurity Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network security and enterprise networking Proven experience in a consulting or professional services role (customer-facing project delivery) Hands-on experience with: Wireless Route/Switch Cisco ISE Cisco Firewall Experience Aruba Clearpass Juniper firewalls (SRX Series) Strong understanding of: Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs) VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) Network segmentation and zero trust architectures Ability to create clear and professional technical documentation Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Prior experience working for a VAR, MSP, or consulting organization Excellent communication and client engagement skills Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNP and/or CCIE Juniper Firewalls and Switches, a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud networking Familiarity with identity integrations (Azure AD, SAML, MFA) in SASE environments Experience deploying or supporting SDWAN and SASE Solutions Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, APIs) Soft Skills & Attributes Strong client-facing presence with the ability to lead technical discussions Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team Strong documentation and presentation skills
