Role Description The Director of Insurance (Personal Accident / Accident & Health) is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving the growth of SPS’s insurance channel. The primary objective of this role is to: - Expand carrier and broker relationships. - Embed SPS as a preferred response provider within insurance products. - Convert insurance-driven engagements into long-term enterprise revenue. This position will serve as the key interface between insurers, brokers, and SPS's operational capability, ensuring alignment among underwriting intent, claims delivery, and client outcomes. This is a full-time senior leadership position operating within a fast-paced, international environment. Given the global nature of SPS operations and insurance relationships, the role requires a flexible approach to working hours, including engagement across multiple time zones and occasional out-of-hours availability to support critical client or partner requirements. Responsibilities - Develop and manage strategic relationships across Personal Accident and Accident & Health carriers and brokers, focusing on originating new partnerships. - Position and embed SPS services within insurance policies, endorsements, and response frameworks. - Expand SPS beyond existing insurer relationships into a diversified, multi-carrier portfolio. - Work with insurers and brokers to develop and structure insurance products incorporating SPS capabilities, including: - Medical and security response - Global assistance and evacuation - Intelligence-led risk mitigation - Act as senior relationship lead for key policyholders, ensuring high-quality delivery and engagement. - Convert insurance-driven interactions into: - Global Assistance retainers - Membership programs (e.g., GEAR) - Enterprise security and medical solutions - Represent SPS within the London Market and international insurance ecosystem, supporting business development, tenders, and market positioning. - Ensure effective coordination between carriers, brokers, and SPS operational teams, including the Global Response Center (GRC), to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes. - Own and deliver against insurance revenue growth targets, building a structured and scalable pipeline across carriers, brokers, and insured clients.
