Overview Elite financial planning doesn't scale. The best advisors serve ~50-100 households. We're fixing that by turning financial logic into code. At Frame, we're building an AI-powered financial office that delivers top-1% tax and financial planning to millions of Americans. We've launched with paying customers, a small high-trust team, and strong backing from CoinTracker ($100M raised, Accel/YC). We're looking for a Business Lead to co-lead Frame alongside our Technical & Product Lead. You'll own the business side: growth, marketing, partnerships, client experience, CPA/CFP team operations, compliance, and hiring. Your co-lead owns product and engineering. You report directly to the CEO. This isn't a "business person who sits in meetings." You'll write the first blog post. You'll run the first partnership call. You'll onboard customers yourself. You'll hire the team that does all of this at scale. Your mission Enable world-class financial and tax planning for everyone Your one-year outcomes - 400 paying customers with NPS 70+ and strong organic word-of-mouth growth - Repeatable customer acquisition motion generating 20+ qualified leads/month - CPA/CFP team of 3-5 delivering consistent 5-star service with AI augmentation - Category awareness: Frame is known as the AI-native alternative to traditional financial planning What you will do - Growth: Own customer acquisition. Build and iterate on growth motions: content, community, social, outbound, partnerships. Own pricing and packaging alongside your co-lead - Client experience: Own NPS, retention, and support quality. Design onboarding. Ensure every customer gets a world-class experience - Team: Manage the CPA/CFP team (currently 2, growing to 3-5). Hire future planners, GTM, marketing, and customer service roles - Operations: Build systems for service delivery: client onboarding, tax filing workflows, planning cadence. Make it consistent and scalable - Brand & content: Build Frame's voice. Create content that builds credibility and drives demand - Partnerships: Identify and execute partnerships that drive customer acquisition - Compliance: Own regulatory compliance for financial planning and tax services - Business metrics: Co-own the Frame P&L with your co-lead. • Interface with Clients: Proactive tax insights and white-glove experience • Prepare, review, and file tax returns for households (starting with those in $1M – $25M net worth) plus related business returns • Architect the Tax Brain: break down complex tax decisions into logic trees that engineers can code • Train AI: review AI advice, correct logic, write system instructions to prevent hallucinations • Solve Edge Cases: AMT crossover, wash sales, multi-state allocation, QSBS, pass-through optimization

• Lead the Legal function at CoinTracker across commercial, product, corporate, and people matters • Draft, negotiate, and manage all commercial agreements (partnership deals, customer contracts, vendor agreements, DPAs) • Partner with Product and Engineering to provide risk-calibrated legal guidance on new features, product lines, and international expansion • Manage corporate governance, equity matters, and board-related legal work • Handle people-related legal matters (employment agreements, policies, compliance) • Build legal infrastructure from scratch: contract templates, playbooks, and self-serve resources • Manage external counsel relationships for specialized matters (IP, regulatory, litigation) • Advise on crypto regulatory developments and their implications for CoinTracker's product

• Own the roadmap and drive toward product-market fit. Talk to customers daily. Decide what to build, what to cut, and what to test • Manage the existing team (2 AI engineers, 1 CPA, 1 CFP). Hire and scale the team. Set operating cadence, culture, and accountability • Own customer acquisition strategy. Build and iterate on growth motions: product-led growth, content, social, network, and partnerships. Own pricing and packaging • Work with engineers to improve AI agent quality, reduce human-in-the-loop dependency, and prevent hallucinations in financial advice • Own the Frame P&L; set goals, track metrics, and report to the CEO. Make resource allocation and investment decisions • Own NPS, retention, and support quality. Ensure every customer feels like they have a world-class financial planning experience

• Lead and grow a team of 5+ engineers • Own the roadmap for infrastructure reliability, developer experience, and AI enablement • Drive the evolution of CoinTracker's architecture • Champion a culture of platform thinking and technical rigor

• Provide top tier support for calendar management • Build a deep understanding of your leader’s OKRs and priorities • Anticipate your leaders' needs • Manage scheduling, email, travel, and communications • Drive operational projects and events with excellence

• Own and execute the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and management reporting. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and corporate spend reconciliations across the organization. • Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles to our B2B and B2C revenue streams, ensuring compliant and accurate revenue reporting. • Support FP&A initiatives by providing accurate actuals, variance analysis, and financial insights. • Partner with People Operations on payroll processing and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for external audits and drive continuous improvements in our control environment. • Build and document scalable accounting processes and procedures as the company grows.

• Partner with the CEO on company strategy, capital allocation, and key business decisions. • Own financial planning, forecasting, and board/investor reporting. • Drive strategic analysis on partnerships, pricing, market opportunities, and M&A. • Lead and develop a small finance team (Strategic Finance, Controller). • Push into adjacent areas (data, growth analytics, market analysis) where finance perspective adds leverage. • Build the analytical foundation for understanding unit economics, cohort performance, and growth drivers.
