Manager34 days ago

Role Description The Manager of Data Science for GTM is a hands-on player coach who leads from the front across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing analytics. They are deeply technical, opinionated about the GTM analytical agenda, and accountable for both the output of the team and the development of each person on it. They are not a pure people manager — they roll up their sleeves on the hardest problems, set the standard for what good looks like, and pull the team up through hands-on coaching, technical mentorship, and direct involvement in the work. They own the analytical strategy for the GTM function and are a credible, trusted partner to Sales, CS, and Marketing leadership. - Set the analytical strategy and roadmap for GTM, proactively identifying the highest-leverage opportunities across the full customer lifecycle from acquisition through expansion and retention. - Operate as a player coach, stay technical, and model the analytical rigor and DS thinking expected from the team. - Coach the team directly on the work itself: review analyses, push on methodology, challenge correlation versus causation, and raise the bar for statistical depth, EDA, and storytelling. - Own the measurement strategy for GTM, defining how to evaluate the true impact of marketing campaigns, sales motions, and CS interventions through rigorous causal methods. - Drive development and iteration of churn risk, health scoring, and expansion propensity models, ensuring they are statistically sound and actively used by CS and Sales. - Lead marketing attribution methodology, moving beyond last-touch toward multi-touch and incrementality-based approaches. - Partner with Revenue Operations and Finance on pipeline and revenue forecasting models that inform quota setting, capacity planning, and board-level reporting. - Partner with Sales, CS, and Marketing leadership as a strategic thought partner. - Grow each person on the team intentionally, set clear development goals, give direct feedback often, and hold the bar high on both performance and growth. - Champion AI as a force multiplier, building agents and skills that transition repetitive GTM data work into automated capabilities. Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in data science or quantitative research, with at least 2 years managing a team of data scientists. - Strong hands-on technical skills: SQL, Python, and modern data warehouse environments. - Demonstrated experience applying analytical methods to GTM problems: churn modeling, propensity scoring, attribution, forecasting, or similar. - Experience with causal inference methods applied to real GTM or business problems. - Deep experience with experimental design, A/B testing, and rigorous measurement frameworks in a marketing or sales context. - Strong track record of influencing GTM strategy through data-driven recommendations at the leadership level. - Exceptional storytelling skills, able to translate complex methodology and findings into clear, compelling narratives. - Track record of developing data scientists and helping them grow from reactive analytics to proactive, strategic insight generation. Requirements - Hands-on experience with churn risk modeling, health scoring, or customer lifetime value models in a B2B SaaS context. - Experience with marketing attribution beyond last-touch, media mix modeling, incrementality testing, or multi-touch attribution. - Familiarity with revenue forecasting and pipeline modeling in partnership with RevOps or Finance. - Background in SaaS, developer tools, or B2B product-led growth metrics. - Experience with CRM data (Salesforce or HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms as analytical data sources. - Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or similar LLM-powered assistants. - Experience with probabilistic modeling or Bayesian approaches to forecasting and scoring. Benefits - Base Pay Range: $188,500 — $235,250 USD. - We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process.

Staff Support Engineer

Engineer49 days ago

Role Description The Staff Support Engineer is the technical authority and strategic backbone of Support Engineering. This role operates at organizational scope — well beyond individual tickets — owning the escalation model, shaping cross-functional engineering relationships, and driving platform-level improvements that reduce future support burden. You are the technical voice in cross-functional forums, a trusted advisor to leadership, and the connective tissue between Enterprise customers and Product/Engineering. Success here means the team is sharper, the product is more supportable, and recurring escalation patterns stop recurring. What You'll Do: - Own Support Engineering's escalation management: coordinate research and reproductions with Product Engineering, identify recurring patterns, and drive structural corrections that prevent repeat incidents. - Serve as the senior cross-functional liaison between Support Engineering and Product, Engineering, Security, and Revenue — attending scoping sessions, architectural discussions, and GTM forums to ensure supportability is a design requirement, not an afterthought. - Lead AI-assisted tool development and set team standards for code quality, review practices, and responsible adoption of emerging capabilities across the engineering interface. - Identify and lead team initiatives, owning delivery and ensuring AI adoption objectives are reflected in team priorities and cross-team roadmap discussions. - Mentor Support Engineers at all levels; develop the next generation of cross-functional technical leads and assist managers where coaching opportunities arise. - Define and continuously evolve Support Engineering's operational practices — escalation workflows, sandbox standards, and AI-integrated processes — at organizational scope. Qualifications - 7+ years of technical product support or engineering experience, with demonstrated ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams and influence without direct authority. - Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional escalations and driving root cause elimination — not just resolution. - Strong programming proficiency in one or more languages; ability to build tools, conduct peer code review, and contribute to Engineering R&D with a supportability lens. - High understanding of distributed service architecture across product specialty areas, including AI-powered component integration and failure modes. - Demonstrated business acumen: ability to align decisions to company OKRs, quantify the impact of operational patterns, and contribute economic perspective to tooling and process decisions. - Experience mentoring engineers and building team capability; track record of reducing siloed knowledge and creating organizational redundancy. Requirements - Experience with build, test, and deployment automation (CI/CD) in a technical leadership or customer-facing capacity. - Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and LLM-based code diagnostics. - Advanced knowledge of Docker, Linux containers, and Kubernetes for container orchestration. - Expertise automating major IaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with a DevOps focus. - Experience debugging distributed systems and microservices architectures. - Knowledge of iOS application testing, code signing, and deployment processes. Benefits - United Kingdom Base Pay Range: £85,000 — £107,000 GBP. - We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Senior Software Engineer

CircleCI

CircleCI delivers a continuous integration platform that allows developers to build at-scale projects more quickly and efficiently. A San Francisco, California-

• Build AI-natively. AI is how we work. It's not a productivity layer on top of engineering, but the default starting point for how problems get approached and solved. • You define the approach others build from. When the problem is complex or the answer isn't obvious, you're the person who leads the design discussion, writes the ADR, and makes the call. • Software delivery is being reinvented. You'll define what they look like and establish the patterns the team builds on. • Build features end-to-end in Go, React, and TypeScript. You don't hand off at a layer boundary. You own the outcome. • Reliability and responsiveness are design concerns, not afterthoughts. Care about how the interface holds up when stakes are high and hold your team to that same standard. • Use Honeycomb, Datadog, and Rollbar to understand and improve your systems. Operational data drives stability, not just incident response. • You'll notice gaps and close them. When a gap reflects something broken in how the team works, you fix that too.
