The Field Engineer for outage services plays a crucial role in supporting utility outage projects throughout the west. This position spends approximately 75% of the year on the road. When not on the road, you will work from your home office. Our Field Engineers serve as a vital member of the project management team, providing support in various capacities including planning, scheduling, project execution oversight, tooling management, safety and quality oversight, subcontract monitoring and controlling, and corporate and customer reporting. The Construction Manager is generally assigned as the overall site manager but could be accountable to the site manager or project manager.  In this position, the Construction Manager will have project oversight with the subcontractors and be the liaison between construction, engineering and the client.  The Construction Manager is on site, and travels from project to project. The construction manager: - Provides overall field leadership and administrative and technical supervision for the assigned project. - May manage; General Superintendents, Discipline Superintendents, Foremen, Warehouse Manager and all operations personnel including craft labor. - Implements and ensures safe project execution to TEiC's standards, consistent with cost, schedule, and commercial requirements to ensure the project's financial success.  - Is expected to have an on-site Field/Office presence. On smaller projects, they may take on the responsibilities of the discipline superintendent and, for larger projects, may be responsible for a portion or area of the scope.   - Ensures that the workflow from crew to discipline superintendents is clear and evenly distributed and that the field organization clearly understands expectations and responsibilities. - Work closely with all TEiC support groups with resources assigned to the team.  - May travel to the home office or other corporate offices to support estimates, project development efforts, or other strategic initiatives.

The Site QC Manager is responsible for ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards, customer specifications, and relevant codes during all Company operations conducted on the job site. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and safety of all project activities. Quality Control - Prepare and meticulously maintain detailed job packages to accurately document all project welding activities. - Monitor daily activities on the job site to verify compliance with customer specifications, quality control guidelines, jurisdictional regulations, and relevant codes. - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations and promptly address noncompliant conditions. - Coordinate Authorized Inspection activities and oversee the application of required stamping for pressure retaining items. - Document and promptly resolve any nonconforming conditions, taking necessary corrective actions to maintain project integrity. Technical Acumen - Verify the use of proper welding procedure specifications and ensure proper storage and control of welding electrodes to maintain quality standards. - Perform nondestructive examinations on weldments and coordinate related activities, including heat treating, to verify structural integrity. - Test and certify welding personnel to ensure competency and compliance with industry standards.
