Software Engineer IV Location: Little Rock United States Job Description: About the role The Software Engineer IV provides strategic, technical, and architectural expertise to software development projects and team members. In this role, the individual is able to work independently with limited supervision in designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software. The Software Engineer IV acts at the highest level of technical expertise addressing problems on systems integration, and compatibility, performs feasibility assessments, and often leads initiatives on development projects with other engineering staff. Additionally, this professional collaborates with Enterprise Architects and Project Management to translate design specifications to production platforms. Key Responsibilities This is a fully remote position. Core responsibilities include: - Designs, modifies, develops, and implements IT software architecture solutions. - Effectively plans and manages assignments spanning multiple complex projects. - Drives technical and procedural change relative to best practices in software development. - Champion and integrate AI-assisted development practices, including Agentic development, to enhance efficiency and product quality. - Builds teams as necessary to solve problems by taking ownership and mentoring developers in finding solutions. Qualifications - BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required with 10+ years' experience in this field or MS in Computer Science with 6+ years' experience in this field required. - Experienced in all phases of the software development lifecycle with a clear understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. - Required familiarity with navigation and management within the Azure Cloud portal and experience with Kubernetes clusters. - Advanced technical proficiency working with the core tech stack: .Net, Angular, and SQL. - Demonstrated ability to lead large projects, build teams, and solve highly complex programming problems. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 / year. The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. • Support different compensation core processes, like the annual compensation cycle, pay equity and salary planning. • Participate in special projects. • Performing comp admin tasks related to manual updates for global transfers, manual uploads (ABS for bonus calculation, fixed allowances, LOA proration, etc). • Troubleshooting issues during the live cycle. • Key participation in the testing phases for regular cycles and for enhancements. • Outlier review follow up, consolidation of information and analysis of data. • Global data submission for participation in the annual WTW compensation survey. • Participation in budget salary planning surveys for Mercer and WTW. • Support the salary planning process with data preparation and analysis. • Invoice reconciliation, usage analysis of recognition programs, etc. • Pay for performance analysis. • Redesign processes and tools for regular audits in compensation information to ensure accuracy.

• Responsible for implementing the project per the plans • Contributes to defining, planning, orchestrating and delivering the project • Manages all parts for the project life cycle and works with BU IT partners to oversee all SDLC phases of a project • Manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost and quality parameters and escalates at the right time to the PM III, Director IT or Program Manager • Works with the sponsor to validate financial forecasts and provides reconciliation of resources and other project related expenditures • Develops communication plans and interfaces to execute on responsibilities • Prepared input for key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiatives • Represents project in various project governance and inter- department forums • Chairs weekly Core Team and monthly Operating Committee meetings to review progress with key constituents • Tracks milestone while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan and report deviations • Develops the project documents for review by the sponsor

• As an Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Resource, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle HCM applications while bridging the gap between technical and functional aspects. • Lead or assist in the implementation, customization, and configuration of Oracle HCM modules according to business needs. • Develop and maintain technical designs, integrations, data migrations, and customizations using Oracle tools such as SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas,OIC etc. • Understand HR processes and requirements to provide functional expertise in aligning technology solutions with business objectives. • Design, implement, and audit Oracle HCM Security Profiles, Data Roles, and Abstract Roles. Ensure strict adherence to data privacy standards and least-privilege access models across all HCM domains. • Leverage Oracle HCM AI and Generative AI capabilities (e.g., AI-assisted recruiting, suggested skills, and automated career paths) to enhance the employee experience and predictive analytics. • Provide technical support, issue resolution, and performance tuning for Oracle HCM applications. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement of HCM systems. • Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and conduct training sessions for end-users when necessary.
