Tier 3 Technical Support Representative Company: AssetWorks Location: United States (Remote) Employment Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (U.S.) Job Description: Job Summary: At AssetWorks, the Support team provides support to our customers as well as providing support for environments that are running in-house. The team is split into three focus groups; Tier 1 Support Analysts, Tier 2 Technical Support Representatives, and Tier 3 Technical Support Representatives. All three teams collaborate to support the customer base and many of the job duties for each team overlap. With these focus groups, we provide a tiered support structure that provides not only excellent service to our customers but also the potential for growth within the department. The Tier 3 Technical Support Representative will provide help desk application and technical assistance to the internal/external customers that are escalated from Tier 2. This will include handling escalations, including communicating issues and enhancements to varying teams and departments. In addition to the AssetWorks products, you will work with third party systems such as Oracle and MSSQL databases, web servers, mobile devices, printers, tablets, and Crystal Reports. The position will include performing installs and upgrades both internally and for our customers. • Own and maintain all CI/CD release pipeline YAML files across GitHub and Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring pipelines are well-structured, version-controlled, and consistently documented. • Design, build, and enhance automated deployment pipelines for non-production and production hosted environments, supporting multiple customer environments. • Manage pipeline branching strategies, approval gates, environment-specific variable groups, and deployment conditions in alignment with Change Management (CAB) processes. • Continuously improve pipeline reliability, execution speed, and error handling to reduce deployment risk and increase release frequency. • Maintain pipeline-as-code standards, ensuring all pipeline definitions are peer-reviewed and stored in source control alongside application code. • Coordinate and execute deployments across all hosted environments development, test, staging, and production - with a focus on consistency, repeatability, and minimal customer impact. • Manage environment-specific configuration files and secrets, ensuring proper separation of configuration from code and secure handling of sensitive values. • Implement blue/green, rolling, or canary deployment strategies where applicable to reduce downtime and deployment risk. • Partner with DBA, IT, and application teams to align deployment windows with maintenance schedules and change management requirements. • Maintain deployment runbooks, rollback procedures, and post-deployment validation checklists for all hosted environments. • Manage Azure DevOps organizations, projects, pipelines, service connections, agent pools, and variable groups. • Define and enforce Git workflow standards (branching strategies, pull request policies, merge requirements) across the hosting operations team. • Integrate GitHub and ADO with downstream tools and services, including Azure cloud services, monitoring platforms, and notification channels. • Maintain pipeline and repository security, ensuring secrets and credentials are managed via Azure Key Vault or equivalent secret management tooling. • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automated configuration management across hosted Linux and Windows environments. • Use Ansible to enforce baseline configurations, manage software installations, apply patches, and maintain environment consistency across all hosted nodes. • Integrate Ansible automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable fully automated end-to-end deployment and configuration workflows. • Maintain an organized Ansible inventory structure and variable hierarchy supporting multiple environments and customer configurations. • Design and implement proactive monitoring solutions for hosted environments using internal tools, 3rd party developed tools, and alerting frameworks. • Build and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into environment health, pipeline execution status, deployment success rates, and infrastructure performance. • Define alerting thresholds and escalation rules to detect and surface issues before they impact customers, integrating alerts with Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or equivalent notification channels. • Implement log aggregation and centralized log management to support troubleshooting, incident response, and compliance reporting. • Provision and manage Azure resources (VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, App Services) supporting the hosted platform, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Terraform. • Support cloud cost management by identifying over-provisioned resources, rightsizing recommendations, and pipeline-driven resource lifecycle management. • Participate in Azure Landing Zone design and implementation, ensuring hosted environments comply with organizational standards for security, networking, and governance. • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on Azure policy enforcement, RBAC configuration, and compliance posture. • Work closely with the Engineering, DBA, IT, and customer success teams to align release schedules, coordinate change management, and resolve deployment blockers. • Maintain internal documentation in Confluence for pipeline architecture, deployment procedures, configuration standards, and monitoring runbooks. • Participate in on-call rotation to support production deployment incidents and environment availability issues.

• Administer and manage Oracle databases on Exadata infrastructure (ExaCC / on-premise) and Linux-hosted Standard Edition environments. • Monitor database health, availability, and capacity across multiple hosted customer environments. • Manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and Data Guard configurations on Exadata. • Coordinate planned maintenance, failover testing, and disaster recovery activities. • Manage ASM (Automatic Storage Management) diskgroups and storage configurations on Exadata. • Conduct proactive and reactive performance analysis using AWR, ADDM, ASH, and Statspack reports. • Identify and resolve database bottlenecks related to SQL execution plans, memory allocation (SGA/PGA), I/O, and locking contention. • Tune SQL statements, indexes, and schema objects to improve application response times. • Provide written performance improvement recommendations and root cause analysis to stakeholders and customers. • Monitor and tune Exadata-specific features: Smart Scan offloading, Flash Cache, Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC), and IORM. • Plan and execute Oracle quarterly PSU/RU patching for Standard Edition databases on Linux. • Manage full-stack patching on Exadata platform, including DB home patches, GI patches, Exadata Bundle Patches (ExaBP), and cell patches. • Coordinate patching activities through the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process, ensuring minimal customer downtime. • Test patches in lower environments prior to production rollout and maintain detailed patching runbooks. • Track Oracle patch schedules, Critical Patch Updates (CPUs), and security advisories. • Develop and maintain Shell (Bash), Python, and PL/SQL scripts to automate routine DBA tasks including health checks, space monitoring, alert log parsing, and report generation. • Build and enhance automation for patching workflows, backup verification, and performance data collection. • Integrate DBA automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) where applicable. • Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives related to database provisioning and configuration management. • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle RMAN backup strategies for Exadata and SE environments, including full, incremental, and archived log backup policies. • Perform and validate periodic recovery tests to confirm backup integrity and meet RTO/RPO objectives. • Manage Data Pump (expdp/impdp) exports for logical backups, environment refreshes, and data migration. • Maintain backup and recovery runbooks, escalation procedures, and incident documentation. • Respond to and lead database recovery efforts during incidents, ensuring minimal data loss and rapid restoration. • Partner with application teams, infrastructure engineers, and customer success managers to resolve database-related issues. • Contribute to internal knowledge base and Confluence documentation for SOPs, runbooks, and architecture references. • Participate in on-call rotation to support production databases during off-hours incidents. • Mentor junior DBA team members and provide technical guidance on best practices.

Role Description Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position manages the financial reporting and accounts payable operations of AssetWorks Fleet. This position requires a motivated and energetic individual who is detailed oriented and can meet the demands of a fast-paced, dynamic Finance department while maintaining a positive attitude. The position also requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The position is fully remote with the company headquarters located in Berwyn, PA. The role will cover the accounting for Assetworks, Inc. and its two UK entities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides functional leadership to a team of accountants. - Performs monthly and quarterly financial analysis of variances from forecast and actual financial results. - Reviews journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting packages. - Manages the monthly financial close process, ensures financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, and analyzes and reviews financial statements. - Manages the accounts payable process, vendor maintenance, and cash flow of the business. - Primary contact for external audits. - Manages the Company's internal control compliance program, including identifying improvements or weaknesses in the controls. - Various ad hoc requests.
