• Oversees all aspects of the financial accounting process including general ledger maintenance; journal entry review monthly close; balance sheet reconciliation; financial reporting, and budget variance analysis for all AHS entities • Responsible for hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and has ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies • Assists Controller in coordinating the annual budget process • Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud through highly structured internal controls

In this role, the Physician Services Coordinator serves as the internal primary contact for all service lines provided by Altais to their physicians. The Physician Services Coordinator supports day-to-day administrative operations and provides exceptional physician service to network physicians and office staff. This includes: - Advocating internally and externally on current and future products, services, and operational processes. - Actively and positively promoting Altais’ overall strategic goals, core values, and communications. - Supporting the development, maintenance, and overall enhancement of relationships with Altais physicians and their staff. - Serving as the primary patient portal representative, ensuring smooth transition for physicians and office staff. You will focus on: - Positively supporting organizational and departmental strategies and goals. - Promoting outstanding physician service (written and verbal) and ensuring high-quality professional communication and timely service to the network. - Promoting positive relations with physicians and office staff to ensure long-term, helpful relations. - Acting as an internal and external liaison and resource to Altais Physician Services Representatives II, physicians, and office staff. - Independently working with internal departments to communicate challenges and deficiencies on behalf of the physician network and expedite resolution. - Escalating challenges to direct supervisor or appropriate department. - Utilizing and applying Altais’s systems, policies, and procedures to ensure challenges are resolved and tracked efficiently. - Serving as the first contact for physician network support for Altais’s electronic network tools. - Deploying EpicLink and the Provider Engagement Portal to contracted Altais offices. - Providing education, training, and day-to-day support. - Participating and representing Physician Services in multi-department work groups when appropriate. - Supporting internal departments with onboarding new physicians and staff. - Facilitating, supporting, and completing administrative tasks associated with physicians and office staff requests. - Identifying, tracking, and trending physicians, staff, and/or practices that are entering, retiring, or relocating Altais. - Scheduling and facilitating internal and external meetings to ensure all relevant issues are discussed and resolved. - Attending relevant meetings, developing and managing work plans, tracking and reporting trends, and facilitating appropriate follow-up. - Educating physician practices regarding new and existing policies and procedures. - Reviewing and understanding existing policies to ensure maximum compliance and troubleshooting issues raised by providers. - Developing and maintaining knowledge level of Altais’s services and product line offerings. - Performing additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership. Qualifications - Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience of 4 years working in direct managed health care administration or Physician office administration. - Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of Patient and Physician portals and EMH or EMR system experience, preferred. • Assist the Clinical Pharmacy Team with tasks related to pharmacy utilization and implementation of medication management programs • Conduct outbound and receiving inbound member and provider calls to address gaps in care • Serve as a contact for clinical pharmacy programs and subject matter expert to medical services, physicians, and project teams • Communicate with internal and external clinical staff, provider offices, health plan partners and in-network pharmacies • Researching, processing, and resolving drug authorization requests and responding to related physician inquiries

• Generate and distribute routine reports to support risk adjustment actuarial best estimate calculation and financial reporting. • Extract and compile information from various systems to support executive decision-making. • Research and develop reports and analysis for senior management; effectively communicate results. • Assist in the preparation of forecasts/filings related to risk adjustment. • Developing risk score reporting with Cozeva, internal claims and Power BI, organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data for decision support, and communicating findings. • Collaborate with operational staff to analyze, understand, modify, and communicate models and results. • Make recommendations to management based on relevant findings. • Utilizes Power BI to display relevant reporting within a refresh cycle. • Analyzes key trends and performance related to clinical programs, provider network performance, other programs or practices, and providers of health care. • Peer review and train junior level actuarial analyst including prioritization of work and projects.

• Develop, maintain and expand strategic relationships in multiple geographies with hospitals, physicians, ancillary and behavioral health providers • Manage, negotiate and execute contracts with various provider types as well as implementation of such contracts • Identify, develop, and implement corporate contracting strategies and business opportunities • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key hospitals and network providers • Manage complex contracting and negotiations for fee for service and value-based reimbursements • Perform analysis independently and coordinate with the Finance Division to review financial performance and healthcare costs of provider contracts • Lead complex contract implementations and identify and resolve issues around contracts • Create and manage value-based contracting incentives and reimbursement methodologies that are quality and performance based • Lead in resolving elevated and complex contractual issues with internal and/or external customers • Participate in external provider meetings and internal operational meetings to continuously improve relationships, processes, operations and best practices • Oversee the development of accurate and timely internal communication around new and renewed managed care arrangements • Develop, evaluate, and interpret contract language terms to ensure consistency with company policies and applicable regulatory agencies • Oversee all contract template revisions, partnering with Compliance and Legal to ensure templates are up to date • Create and oversee all departmental and organization resource material applicable to Provider Contracting • Responsible for training contracting team on operational changes, department updates and upcoming projects

The Contracts Specialist, Provider is responsible for managing and supporting provider contracts for all lines of business; Commercial, Medicare and Medi-Cal HMO and PPO for multiple medical groups and Independent Physician Associations throughout California. Primary duties include: - Drafting provider contract agreements and amendments. - Letter of Agreement negotiation and analyses. - Contract terminations. - Contract file integrity in contract management system. - Ancillary grid maintenance. - Contributing to operational implementation of all provider agreements. You will focus on: - Collaborating with the Contracting Department, internal and external stakeholders to support the successful execution of departmental and company goals. - Managing complex provider inquiries and/or problems related to operations, contract interpretation (e.g., DOFR, delegation), claims, and facilitating resolution. - Maintaining favorable relationships while ensuring the interest of the company. - Acting as a liaison between providers and internal departments including management, finance, medical services, claims, configuration, network management, customer service, legal, compliance, and others. - Assisting with the planning and scheduling of routine payer joint operations committee meetings with large provider groups and hospitals. - Developing and/or improving provider contracting existing tools, resources, contract language, physician education resource materials, job aides, policies, and procedures. - Managing and participating in the development and implementation of systems (e.g., Symplr/sPayer, Epic) that support network operations and management. - Managing departmental intranet webpages; updating content with tools and resources. - Developing and managing Contracting communications including distribution of fully executed contracts. - Contract Management and Maintenance; routing documents for signature, tracking necessary signatures, uploading contracts into database. - Supporting provider negotiations to achieve contracting strategy and attain budgeted results. - Analyzing data while collaborating and/or participating in discussions with colleagues and business partners. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop provider value-based contracts. - Driving change and innovation through seeking and implementing value-added solutions. - Effectively communicating and advocating providers' needs to internal stakeholders. - Understanding provider relationships within the market and ensuring operational issues are visible to appropriate parties. - Assisting in the preparation and review of contract documentation for accuracy. - Researching, gathering, and organizing provider contracts for audits, projects, and negotiations. - Participating in ongoing departmental staff cross-training for continuous improvement. - Completing projects within scheduled time frames and established standards. - Soliciting information and feedback from operating departments regarding implementation and performance of contracts. - Administering and creating documents and mailings to providers. - Travel may be required, as determined by business need. Qualifications - College degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Managed Care provider network, required. - Basic financial analysis experience, required. - Minimum of 2 years of contracting or physician relations experience in responsible positions in healthcare contracting, required. Requirements - The Base Salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000/year. • Responsible for the direct supervision of day-to-day operations of the credentialing function to support the delegated function for all our Health Plan Partners. • Manage the credentialing program for Altais affiliated entities. • Oversee the interdependencies between departments, maintaining knowledge of the impact to providers. • Provide leadership/coaching to the credentialing team staff.
