Key Responsibilities - DevOps & CI/CD Evaluation - Review CI/CD pipeline logic, deployment workflows, automation practices, release processes, and build systems. - Assess real-world DevOps tasks involving testing workflows, deployment reliability, rollback planning, and infrastructure automation. - Provide structured feedback on technical accuracy, clarity, practical relevance, and production-readiness. - Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or unclear assumptions in DevOps-related technical scenarios. - Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering - Evaluate infrastructure scenarios involving AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or comparable cloud environments. - Review architecture patterns related to scalability, reliability, observability, cost awareness, maintainability, and cloud-native design. - Contribute practical expertise on infrastructure provisioning, environment management, service deployment, and platform workflows. - Assess whether proposed systems reflect realistic cloud and platform engineering practices. - Containers, Kubernetes & Orchestration - Review tasks involving Docker, Kubernetes, containerised workloads, service deployment, cluster management, and orchestration workflows. - Evaluate scenarios related to container networking, scaling, configuration, resource management, and deployment structure. - Create or refine technical deliverables based on realistic platform engineering use cases. - Identify technical inconsistencies, missing details, or improvement areas in container and orchestration-related materials. - Technical Documentation & Scenario Review - Support the development, review, or refinement of DevOps and platform engineering tasks. - Provide clear technical explanations and feedback based on hands-on engineering experience. - Review technical materials for accuracy, completeness, and practical usability. - Help ensure outputs reflect real-world infrastructure, deployment, and cloud engineering standards. Qualifications - Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related technical roles. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, infrastructure-as-code, cloud-native systems, and production environments. - Strong familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, monitoring tools, logging systems, or comparable infrastructure tooling. - Ability to evaluate technical workflows, identify practical issues, and explain engineering reasoning clearly. - Strong written communication skills and comfort working independently in a remote, project-based environment. Educational Background - A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is helpful. - Equivalent professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or production systems is also highly relevant. Nice to Have - Experience with Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or similar tools. - Background in SRE, distributed systems, cloud security, infrastructure reliability, or production incident response. - Experience creating technical documentation, evaluating engineering tasks, or mentoring technical teams. - Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, microservices architecture, observability systems, or large-scale deployment workflows.
