Field Sales Representative – Regional Coverage, DACH

• Proactively acquire new customers and develop new markets within the agreed sales territory, which may include southern, eastern or northern Germany as well as Switzerland, Austria and the Benelux countries • Manage and grow existing customer relationships through field-based account management • Serve as the primary contact for top decision-makers at existing laboratory customers • Conduct presentations, needs assessments and document existing workflows at new customers to further develop existing customer solutions • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing customer portfolio • Prepare quotes using standardized modules and manage projects under project-management conditions • Monitor and analyze the market and attend conferences and trade shows to maintain customer relationships

Job Requirements

  • Several years of experience managing existing customers for complex, consultative products, ideally in software sales within the laboratory or life-science sector
  • Knowledge of lab-relevant processes, systems and interfaces (e.g. HL7, LDT)
  • Familiarity with the digital laboratory workflow — from order entry through analytics, connected/online instruments, validation/reporting and quality control to billing
  • Strong communication and consulting skills with a confident, trust-building manner for long-term customer relationships
  • Business-fluent German and good English; French is a plus
  • Willingness to work in the field with travel within your sales territory
  • Structured, independent working style, high service orientation and team spirit
