Engineering Manager – Provider Engineering

• Build, grow, and lead a high-performing team of full-stack engineers delivering patient request, forms, and supporting admin platform capabilities. • Define and drive the technical vision for scalable, reusable workflows that reduce engineering and operational cost per new provider implementation. • Partner closely with Product, Operations, Security, and Commercial teams to translate business goals—adoption, turnaround time, efficiency—into measurable engineering outcomes. • Ensure secure, compliant handling of sensitive health data, embedding strong controls around access, auditability, reliability, and incident management. • Architect modular, maintainable systems that align with broader provider platform standards and enable long-term scale. • Improve implementation speed and operational efficiency through automation, tooling, and clear integration patterns. • Establish and uphold strong engineering practices across CI/CD, testing, observability, and production readiness. • Be hands-on when needed—guiding critical design decisions, unblocking complex technical challenges, and mentoring engineers into technical leaders.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of engineering management experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams that build fullstack web applications from the ground up (React, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of modern application architecture, APIs, authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and secure data exchange.
  • Comfort operating in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC2) and building compliant solutions that scale.
  • A bias for action — able to balance speed, quality, and risk through clear communication and sound judgment.
  • Experience establishing engineering culture, delivery practices, and technical direction for new products.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills — able to bring clarity to ambiguity and partner effectively with cross-functional peers.
  • You are both a leader and a doer: willing to dig in, model good engineering, and coach others to reach their next level.

OVERVIEW The Company U.S. Financial Technology (U.S. FinTech) is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering Services to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES Job Information The Sr Director Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering Services will lead the overall design of cyber security architecture, cyber security engineering and business architecture to ensure that the organization is compliant to cyber security policies both internally and externally. This position will contribute to the overall security vision and strategy. The focus will be on improving operational efficiencies and reliability within U.S. FinTech’s Cyber Security tools ecosystem while continuing the teams to work in an increasingly cloud native environment as we are completely cloud based. This position will lead day-to-day management and execution of Cyber security architecture and engineering functions across all divisions. This position will interface with IT professionals as well as leaders of the business to assess and manage cyber risk, share the security vision, and solicit involvement in achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing and collaboration. This is a successor type role for all across InfoSec's functional areas. Pay Range $205,250 to $236,500 U.S. FinTech's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
