Role Description We are currently searching for a Full-Stack Developer: - Build end-to-end products, taking full ownership from backend API architecture to frontend UI development. - Develop, integrate, and maintain production-grade machine learning pipelines (ML), with a specific focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. - Design and implement fast, reliable, and scalable model inference APIs. - Manage data processing workflows to ensure optimal performance of ML models in production. - Deploy applications using AWS or cloud-agnostic methodologies, managing containerization and continuous integration/continuous deployment. Qualifications - Strong expertise in building user interfaces with React and developing backend APIs using Python and FastAPI. - Proven expertise working with Python-based Machine Learning (ML) pipelines, especially Natural Language Processing (NLP). - Hands-on experience with AWS or cloud-agnostic deployment (e.g., ECS/Fargate, Docker). - Solid experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Strong understanding of data processing, scalable architecture, and exposing model inference APIs. - Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery. - A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering" (knowing how to productionize and scale an ML model, not just run it in a notebook). Requirements - Advanced Oral English. - Advanced Spanish. Benefits - Fully remote.
• Perform comprehensive stray light analysis using FRED to quantify and mitigate out-of-field stray light, scatter, ghosting, and thermal self-emission across complex infrared optical assemblies. • Specify and analyze custom optical coatings and surface treatments to maximize transmission/reflectance and manage environmental durability for our multispectral IR instruments. • Serve as the primary technical liaison with specialized optical component vendors. • Drive R&D initiatives to advance internal capabilities in novel coating technologies, filter survivability in harsh environments (e.g., TVAC, radiation), and advanced optical materials. • Define test plans using metrology setups (e.g., spectrophotometry, scatterometry/BRDF measurements) to verify vendor deliverables and characterize component-level spectral and scatter performance. • Partner with optical and mechanical designers to iterate and optimize baffle designs, surface finishes, and optomechanical layouts based on rigorous stray light analysis.
• Work with engineering and business partners to define and build out complex software solutions driving business value. • Work in an agile Scrum environment taking development assignments to triage and resolve issues, develop new and enhance existing product features. • Document software designs, objectives, and create and respond to RFCs in a shared collaboration environment such as Confluence. • Develop business logic to empower our web and mobile applications via RESTful APIs. • Design and develop services in a serverless AWS architecture to maintain modularity, performance, security, development efficiency and enhancements. • Participate application design and design services that support those applications. • Work in an agile development environment, maintaining user story and task status, t-shirt sizing. • Respond to bugs and support issues to ensure web users are delighted to use our applications. • Conduct code reviews, create pull requests, respond to peer and manager feedback to improve source code, designs and deliverables. • Communicate on all open projects and give updates to both team members and Technology team staff.
• Lead technical efforts in DevOps, IaC, and automation, providing end-to-end ownership and support for critical GCP services. • Manage and resolve a high volume of ServiceNow tickets. Perform expert triage to ensure accurate priority levels (High/Medium/Low) and timely resolution. • Develop automation runbooks for scheduled shutdowns of hybrid workers and other resources to drive measurable cost savings. • Enhance Tekton clusters, GitHub repository migrations, and automated subscription lifecycle management. • Remediate vulnerabilities, enable Managed Identities on Function Apps, and apply hardened Linux OS policies and secure communication protocols to production environments. • Design, develop, and maintain Python, Java, or React-based web applications, portals, and cloud-automation microservices from scratch. • Develop backend services using Python and troubleshoot Google Maps Platform API and Java/Spring Boot integrations for Android/iOS applications. • Manage and implement cloud-automation solutions like Exception Frameworks, Cloud Health, Quota Management, and Cost Optimization tools to supply self-service capabilities and remove toil. • Build strong SRE platforms using Dynatrace or GCP Ops Monitoring Suite to ensure all key services implement metrics, observability, and proactive alerting. • Provide Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to junior engineers to maintain team technical standards. • Participate in on-call rotation for the GCP ops platform, lead incident review, and conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA). • Collaborate with Product Driven Organization (PDO) teams and Cloud Providers to define, architect, and implement tools to enhance debuggability, supportability, availability, scalability, and performance.
