Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Field Based Project Manager. This is a remote position based within the continental United States. This role is required to be located within a 50-mile radius of an Eaton sales facility, with preference for candidates near Raleigh, NC; Arden, NC; Richmond, VA; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Southfield, MI; and Fenton, MO. What you’ll do: The primary function of a Field Based Project Manager is to create value and establish the project order management process as a key differentiator from our competitors. This position is heavily involved in the electrical and mechanical details of major Data Center Projects. In this role you will: - Manage the technical aspects of major electrical assembly project orders by meeting customer specifications and timelines for products, documentations, and quality - Utilize the Project Management team resources assigned to their project orders - Assess and apply in depth knowledge of sales planning services to internal clients in one or more specialty areas, requiring technical application - Upgrade existing processes, deploy new initiatives, and recommend new solutions based on analysis and customer trends - Ensure compliance with applicable processes and procedures to achieve business goals - Proactively use competitive information to leverage advantages of Eaton Corporation - Negotiate internally for resources and priorities needed for customers - Improve financial position for Eaton and the customer. The OCM Consultant will lead the change strategy and user adoption efforts for the implementation of an automated, web-based Travel Management System (TMS) built on SAP Concur for a Federal Client. The OCM Consultant will ensure a smooth transition to a modernized, integrated TMS that preserves the client’s structured approval processes while improving automation, compliance, and traveler experience. This role is critical to achieving enterprise-wide adoption across diverse traveler populations and maintaining operational continuity during system replacement. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Change Strategy & Governance · Develop and execute a comprehensive OCM strategy aligned with the client’s governance structure and divisional approval hierarchies. · Conduct stakeholder impact assessments across all 14 divisions and traveler groups. · Establish change governance, sponsorship alignment, and division-level change champion networks. · Coordinate closely with the Program Manager and technical implementation team to align change activities with system design and deployment milestones.
