Role Description About The Role: - Location: G52 4JQ - Working Days: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 Key Responsibilities: - Technical: - Conducting a review of each new Tender then create and implement a tender action plan. - Preparing the pricing element of Tenders. - Allocating Tender Deliverables to relevant Departments. - Undertake the ‘take off’ from the drawing and specification, transferring quantities into estimation and sending out enquiries for materials and specialist sub-contractors. - Reviewing the Tender and Control Sheet with the Project delivery team. - Presenting Tender Proposal to the relevant Manager / Director for approval to submit. - Submitting the Tender to Client with all Tender deliverables. - Delivering the financial submission of individual tenders. - Contributing to risk assessment and ensuring all risks are included within the tender. - Leading or supporting Value Engineering exercises and target costs. - Ensuring all risks are recorded and accounted for within the tender. - Contributing to the submission document and Contract Documentation. - Maintenance of reliable tendering databases; involving collation of all necessary information from individual tenders and assisting the Bid Manager to create & maintain a valuable source of information for future tenders. - On BIM enabled Projects, information roles and duties as defined in PAS1192-2 or the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) may be assigned. - Customer: - Maintaining appropriate contact with customer to ensure a clear understanding of key elements within the bid. - Follow up on submitted tenders until conclusion. - Project Management/Planning and Organising: - Ensuring Estimating Smartsheets are accurate and up to date. - Use tracker to prioritize estimate requests. - Team Working: - Assisting other estimators when required on larger tenders. - Liaising with Commercial, Design, Operations and Bid Support where applicable to ensure a compliant tender. - Providing feedback to Salesforce administrators throughout the tender process. - Compiling a handover file for successful tenders and presenting to the relevant operational team and the allocated commercial support. - Supporting the Bid Manager with Tender Proposal Documentation. - Providing support or direct attendance at Post Tender Interviews / PT Presentation. - Health & Safety: - Ensuring all employees and contractors are aware of their obligations under the OCS Health & Safety Policy, and that work is costed in accordance with the policy at all times. - Helping create and maintain a positive safety culture, leading by example at all times. Qualifications - Prior experience in the Building Services sector, whether from an operational or formal estimating background. - Experience in reading and understanding tender drawings and bill of quantities. - Experience working with and developing schedule of rates. - Strong PC Skills in particular MS Excel, Word and Power-Point. - Experience in ‘Estimation’ Trimble Software or similar. - Full Driving License. This position oversees all safety programs, policies, and performance across active construction sites. The OCM Consultant will lead the change strategy and user adoption efforts for the implementation of an automated, web-based Travel Management System (TMS) built on SAP Concur for a Federal Client. The OCM Consultant will ensure a smooth transition to a modernized, integrated TMS that preserves the client’s structured approval processes while improving automation, compliance, and traveler experience. This role is critical to achieving enterprise-wide adoption across diverse traveler populations and maintaining operational continuity during system replacement. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Change Strategy & Governance · Develop and execute a comprehensive OCM strategy aligned with the client’s governance structure and divisional approval hierarchies. · Conduct stakeholder impact assessments across all 14 divisions and traveler groups. · Establish change governance, sponsorship alignment, and division-level change champion networks. · Coordinate closely with the Program Manager and technical implementation team to align change activities with system design and deployment milestones. Stakeholder Engagement & Communications · Develop and implement a targeted communications plan addressing executives, division leadership, travel approvers, finance personnel, and travelers. · Communicate changes to Travel Authorization (TA) workflows, approval hierarchies, and reimbursement processes. · Prepare executive briefings and adoption dashboards to monitor organizational readiness and risk.
