Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Federal Senior Consultant JOB TYPE: Full-Time JOB LOCATION: Remote; Some Client travel may be required JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Senior Consultant to support a federal client in delivering advanced SAP ERP capabilities, including S/4HANA enhancements, system integrations, and financial interoperability. This role requires deep technical and functional expertise across SAP modules, strong integration experience, and demonstrated success supporting federal financial processes, including U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing. This position operates in a highly scrutinized federal environment where all qualifications must be clearly demonstrated through prior experience.. JOB SUMMARY: Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking SAP Concur Technical Consultant with a passion for growth and business transformation. The Technical Consultant will lead the technical architecture, integration design, data migration, and interface development activities for implementation of a new automated, web-based Travel Management System (TMS) built on SAP Concur for a federal client. The SAP Concur Technical Consultant will ensure the new TMS is securely integrated with the client’s enterprise systems, enabling automated travel booking, approval routing, reimbursement processing, and audit compliance. This role is critical to delivering a technically sound, secure, and scalable solution that supports the client’s operational and regulatory requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical Architecture & Integration Design · Define and document the end-to-end technical architecture for SAP Concur implementation. · Design and oversee system integrations between SAP Concur and: o Monitoring systems o Reimbursement and financial systems o Travel claim audit services o Customer service support platforms · Coordinate GDS connectivity and ensure seamless reservation data exchange. · Develop interface control documents (ICDs) and data flow diagrams. Interface Development & Data Management · Lead configuration and testing of inbound/outbound interfaces, including employee data, funding structures, cost centers, and reimbursement transactions. · Perform field mapping, transformation logic validation, and data reconciliation. · Support data migration activities, including user profiles, approval hierarchies, and historical travel data as required. · Ensure secure authentication, role-based access controls, and compliance with IT security standards. Testing & Technical Validation · Develop and execute technical test plans for System Integration Testing (SIT). · Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by resolving interface defects and validating data accuracy. · Monitor system performance and troubleshoot integration or data transmission issues. · Coordinate regression testing during configuration updates and system releases.
