• Identify, source, and onboard new partners across the Venture Capital and Private Equity landscape • Build strong relationships with partners across their investment and operating teams that drive mutually beneficial partnerships that grow stronger over time • Help define the playbook to scale the program across many possible partners • Develop and manage joint go-to-market strategies with partners to drive mutual value and accelerate customer acquisition, including scalable processes and playbooks for partner enablement, co-marketing, and referral workflows • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to ensure partnership initiatives are aligned and delivering results • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, building deep relationships that lead to long-term collaboration and trust • Track and report on partner performance, pipeline influence, and overall impact on business metrics • Experiment with new partnership models, incentives, and outreach strategies to drive growth
Job Requirements
- Have 2-3 years of experience in partnerships (from early stage), business development, or sales roles at a SaaS, fintech, banks, or have an Investment Banking background.
- Consulting experience, and are excited to move into a Partnerships role at a fast-paced startup.

• Advance Yelp's mission: Connect consumers to great local businesses by deeply integrating Yelp’s hundreds of millions of reviews, photos, action links, and business listing data into leading AI and Search platforms and products. • Work with Elite Partners: Manage relationships with a focused suite of high-value partners (e.g. Apple Maps, Microsoft, Amazon Alexa, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Vagaro, and more). • Shape the Future: Lead initiatives that drive consumers into Yelp’s flagship apps and websites, as well as frontier initiatives: Voice AI and Yelp’s AI Assistant. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Develop deep working relationships across departments, including product management, engineering, business operations & strategy, marketing, user operations, accounting/finance, legal, and others. • Data-Driven Growth: Partner with Product and Business Operations & Strategy to measure, analyze, and optimize all aspects of the user acquisition, conversion, and retention funnel. • Innovate Relentlessly: Deliver innovative in-product experiences that improve user experience, help users reach their “aha” moments faster, and expand Yelp’s conversion funnel at the top (discovery) and bottom (task completion). • Report & Influence: Clearly and transparently communicate priorities, progress, risks, results, and learnings to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Own and close new retailer partnerships—meet/exceed new-business quota and deliver signed agreements, installed kiosks, and revenue. • Build and execute plans to close target retailers; identify decision makers, influencers, and buying committees; draft messaging and pitch materials • Run discovery to understand retailer objectives and constraints; develop tailored value propositions and ROI models for device recycling and trade-in. • Manage the full sales cycle from first outreach through signed contract and handoff to implementation; maintain momentum with clear close plans. • Lead negotiations and contract redlines (commercial terms, rent/revenue share, placement, SLAs, and legal/privacy/security requirements as applicable) to signature. • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and executive-ready presentations; present to VP/C-level stakeholders and cross-functional committees. • Drive outbound prospecting (cold calling, email, LinkedIn, partners, and events) to build pipeline—while prioritizing late-stage advancement and closing activity. • Coordinate internal stakeholders to create winning solutions and ensure deliverability across Legal, Marketing, Analytics and Account Management. • Refine our tradeshow strategy and represent ecoATM at key industry events; generate qualified opportunities and convert them to closed-won deals. • Stay informed on industry trends and maintain a deep understanding of the retailer ecosystem as well as smartphone and electronics recycling trends • Report on forces that shift strategic directions for account opportunities • Utilize Salesforce to manage full-cycle pipeline, forecasting, and reporting; maintain accurate stage hygiene, close dates, and next steps. • Partner with internal teams to translate prospect needs into clear requirements and a clean handoff once deals are signed. • Own weekly forecasting and performance updates; track pipeline health, stage conversion, win rates, cycle time, and forecast accuracy. • Work with Analytics on scoring potential retailer locations and building financial model proposals in Excel.
