Role Description iWorks is seeking a DevOps Pipeline Engineer to implement, harden, and manage TestRail as a secure containerized solution within a high-security Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) federal environment. - Design and build secure CI/CD pipelines - Integrate TestRail with Jira and Git-based workflows - Ensure production-grade operational support in a compliance-driven setting - Stand up and maintain a hardened, auditable, and scalable DevSecOps solution aligned with federal security standards On a day-to-day basis, you will: - Deploy and manage TestRail as a hardened container image within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Administer and support Kubernetes clusters in a secure federal cloud environment - Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines (runners, artifacts, environment promotion, secrets management) - Build and maintain integrations between TestRail, Jira, and Git-based development workflows - Develop automated deployment pipelines for routine patching and upgrades - Connect TestRail to a MySQL HeatWave database in collaboration with DBA teams - Configure audit logging, monitoring, and operational telemetry in alignment with federal compliance standards - Implement secure DevSecOps controls including image scanning, SAST/DAST gates, SBOM generation, and signed container images - Provide post-release operational support, including incident response, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation - Contribute to operational runbooks, change management artifacts, and continuous process improvement efforts Qualifications - Active Secret clearance required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Kubernetes administration - Strong GitLab CI/CD experience, including pipeline design, runners, artifacts, environment promotion, and secrets management - Experience integrating test management tools (preferably TestRail) with Jira and Git-based workflows - Solid MySQL experience (connectivity, performance fundamentals, reliability), ideally with MySQL HeatWave familiarity - Demonstrated production support experience, including monitoring, incident response, on-call support, and operational documentation - Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications in secure enterprise environments Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with federal security and compliance expectations (least privilege access, audit logging, controlled change management) - Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices, including SAST/DAST gates, image scanning, SBOMs, and signed container images - Experience working in FedRAMP, FISMA, or other regulated federal cloud environments - Relevant certifications (OCI, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), GitLab, Security+, or similar) - Experience supporting high-availability production systems within government environments Benefits - Exceptional comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability) - 401(k) - Health and Wellness Benefits - Paid Sick Time, Vacation Time, and Holiday Time - Eligibility for bonuses throughout the year as part of our incentive program for innovation and business development - Consideration for an annual raise, commensurate with performance and company commitment Company Description iWorks Corporation, founded in 2005, is a leading provider of information technology and professional services to the federal government. Job Requirements
- Active Secret clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Kubernetes administration
- Strong GitLab CI/CD experience, including pipeline design, runners, artifacts, environment promotion, and secrets management
- Experience integrating test management tools (preferably TestRail) with Jira and Git-based workflows
- Solid MySQL experience (connectivity, performance fundamentals, reliability), ideally with MySQL HeatWave familiarity
- Demonstrated production support experience, including monitoring, incident response, on-call support, and operational documentation
- Experience deploying and maintaining containerized applications in secure enterprise environments
- Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with federal security and compliance expectations (least privilege access, audit logging, controlled change management)
