Job Description

Software Engineer

Sophos

• Support CI/CD pipelines and release automation for SaaS applications, microservices, and containerized workloads. • Support developer and release tooling such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and related CI/CD systems. • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application builds across development, QA, and production environments. • Assist with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS-based deployments, environment health checks, configuration updates, and operational readiness activities. • Use Terraform to help provision and maintain cloud infrastructure in a consistent, repeatable, and reviewable way. • Write and maintain automation scripts in Groovy, Python, and Bash under guidance to reduce manual release, build, and environment-management work. • Work with development teams to understand build, deployment, and environment needs, then contribute to practical automation and process improvements. • Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and environment issues by reviewing logs, pipeline output, Linux systems, and cloud service behavior. • Support secure development and DevSecOps practices, including security scanning and compliance-related tooling integrations. • Use approved AI tools to assist with scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, log analysis, and workflow improvement while following company security, privacy, and code-review expectations. • Maintain clear communication about environment state, deployed versions, release status, availability, risks, and next steps. • Participate in on-call or operational support rotations as needed for supported services and release infrastructure.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, release engineering, infrastructure automation, software engineering, or a closely related role.
  • Able to complete well-scoped engineering tasks with moderate independence.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services, especially services commonly used for compute, identity, storage, messaging, monitoring, and container platforms. Azure experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts; Amazon EKS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and container-based application delivery.
  • Strong Linux fundamentals, including command-line troubleshooting, shell scripting, process inspection, permissions, networking basics, logs, and system services.
  • Ability to investigate build failures, deployment failures, environment issues, cloud infrastructure behavior, and application runtime problems with support from senior engineers.
  • Practical scripting experience with one or more of Groovy, Python, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release automation using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with release practices such as branching, tagging, versioning, artifact promotion, rollback planning, and progressive deployments.
  • Experience with developer and artifact tooling such as GitHub and Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with common build tools such as Gradle, Maven, or npm.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration/provisioning tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and Chef; hands-on Terraform experience is strongly preferred.
  • Basic understanding of secrets management, certificates, SSL/TLS concepts, and secure automation practices.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps tools such as Black Duck, Prisma Cloud, or similar scanning platforms is a plus.
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, generate or review scripts, summarize logs, draft documentation, or explore technical options, with good judgment around security and accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when coordinating releases, environment status, risks, and troubleshooting updates across teams.

Senior Product Engineer

Belle, LLC

Healthcare is shifting homeward—and seniors deserve better. Belle is redefining care by embedding preventive services directly in the lives of Medicare members. By joining us now, you’ll not only enjoy a work-life balance rare in clinical practice but also help build the future of senior care.

Role Description We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who operates as a true product partner. You'll own significant areas of our product, make architectural decisions, and influence what we build—not just how. A core pillar of this role is data and analytics: you'll own the infrastructure, models, and reporting that make Belle a genuinely KPI-driven organization. You think in terms of patient and operational outcomes, weigh tradeoffs against business impact, and can push back on a spec when the data or the user need points elsewhere. You set the technical bar for the team and raise the people around you. What You'll Do - Lead the design and delivery of major features across our Ruby on Rails web app and React Native mobile app. - Own data and analytics as a core part of the role—build and maintain the reporting, dashboards, and underlying data models the entire organization relies on to make decisions. - Partner with product and clinical leadership to shape roadmap and translate operational strategy into technical direction. - Own architecture and technical decisions for your areas; balance speed, scalability, and maintainability. - Set the standard for how the team uses AI coding tools to ship faster without sacrificing quality. - Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and design discussion. - Identify high-leverage opportunities in product, operations, and data—and drive them. - Help shape engineering practices, standards, and culture as we scale. Potential Products You Would Own - Our Community Health Worker mobile application that drives productivity, engagement, and data capture for our in-field mobile workforce. - Our suite of scheduling and logistics tooling that drive workforce utilization and member engagement. - A custom CRM platform that enables our growth and retention marketing teams to power predictable, cost-effective growth. - Clinical tooling to drive patient outcomes and utilization/efficacy of our clinical staff. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software. - Deep experience with React (or React Native) and Ruby on Rails—required. - Strong command of SQL and relational databases—you can model data well, write performant queries, and reason about schema design. - A track record of owning features or products end to end, including the product thinking behind them. - Comfort operating with incomplete information, making decisions without extensive process, and building systems that may support 10x growth over the next few years. - You're an early adopter and power user of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) and can show others how to get the most out of them. - Strong product judgment: you've influenced what gets built, killed bad ideas early, and measured impact after shipping. - A builder at heart—you make things on your own time because you can't help it. - Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team standards. - Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements - Bonus if You Have: - Metabase or similar BI tooling—you'll likely be building in it regularly. - Inertia.js experience. - Healthcare, digital health, Medicare, or value-based care experience. - Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments. Benefits - Competitive compensation based on experience. - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits. - 401k. - PTO, Sick, Wellness leave, and Paid Holidays. - Opportunity for significant career growth and expansion of responsibilities. - Ability to reshape an industry and protect lives. One Concrete Ask Send us something you've built—ideally something you own beyond your day job. A side project, an open-source contribution, a tool that scratched your own itch. Tell us what it does, the most interesting technical or product decision you made, and how AI coding tools fit into how you work today. We'd rather see one thing you're proud of than a long list of past employers.

• Own customer rollouts end to end — data integration, model build-out, validation, and production cutover — as the primary technical owner. • Build AI-driven automated test harnesses to validate every new product release against real customer use cases and models, catching regressions before they reach customers. This is a critical function of the role: you'll use AI to generate, run, and evaluate test cases at scale across diverse customer configurations. • Build and maintain data integrations between customer source systems (ERP, GL, data warehouses) and our platform, treating them as durable, version-controlled engineering deliverables rather than throwaway scripts. • Translate real-world requirements in financial and operational modeling into correct, performant models on the platform. • Diagnose and resolve data, performance, and correctness issues — often deep in SQL, source data, and consolidation logic. • Ship bug fixes and feature extensions directly against the platform — make targeted product changes to unblock customers and close gaps surfaced in the field, rather than only filing tickets and waiting on core engineering. • Act as the feedback loop to product and engineering: surface friction, propose fixes, and where warranted, build them. • Partner with customer stakeholders across finance and operations, earning trust as someone who understands their domain and can make the software do what they need
