Job Description
Senior Software Engineer
Affirm
• Own bank systems end-to-end. • Be a force multiplier on a small team. • Ship AI-first. • Own vendor relationships. • Build for examiners. • Own the operational posture of your work. • Influence beyond the team. • Help grow talent as the team grows.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with senior-strong, hands-on builder credentials and a track record of taking ownership end-to-end through launch and operations
- Comfortable in ambiguity — you move fast, ask hard questions, and take ownership before being asked, while balancing speed with engineering judgment
- Bias toward simplicity — experience operating in or building toward a small, lean engineering culture where the engineering bar is high and the surface area is kept intentionally tight
- Hungry to leverage AI to drive outcomes — fluent with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex, agentic workflows) and actively pushing yourself and your team to use them as a multiplier for code quality, velocity, and what a deliberately small team can ship
- Strong systems thinking across public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and cloud data platforms (Snowflake or comparable)
- Regulated-environment experience — direct work in banking, payments, securities, healthcare, or another setting subject to external examination, where the work involves examiner-facing documentation and decisions
- Comfortable as the technical face of your work to non-engineering stakeholders — Compliance, Risk, Finance, outside counsel, and examiners — and able to document decisions so they hold up under audit review
- Exceptional written and verbal communication — you can distill complex technical, regulatory, and operational concepts into clear narratives for executives and non-engineering audiences.
Benefits
- 100% employer-subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
- Flexible spending wallets for technology, food, lifestyle, and family formation
- Competitive vacation and holiday schedules
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan

Senior Product Engineer
Belle, LLCHealthcare is shifting homeward—and seniors deserve better. Belle is redefining care by embedding preventive services directly in the lives of Medicare members. By joining us now, you’ll not only enjoy a work-life balance rare in clinical practice but also help build the future of senior care.
Role Description We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who operates as a true product partner. You'll own significant areas of our product, make architectural decisions, and influence what we build—not just how. A core pillar of this role is data and analytics: you'll own the infrastructure, models, and reporting that make Belle a genuinely KPI-driven organization. You think in terms of patient and operational outcomes, weigh tradeoffs against business impact, and can push back on a spec when the data or the user need points elsewhere. You set the technical bar for the team and raise the people around you. What You'll Do - Lead the design and delivery of major features across our Ruby on Rails web app and React Native mobile app. - Own data and analytics as a core part of the role—build and maintain the reporting, dashboards, and underlying data models the entire organization relies on to make decisions. - Partner with product and clinical leadership to shape roadmap and translate operational strategy into technical direction. - Own architecture and technical decisions for your areas; balance speed, scalability, and maintainability. - Set the standard for how the team uses AI coding tools to ship faster without sacrificing quality. - Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and design discussion. - Identify high-leverage opportunities in product, operations, and data—and drive them. - Help shape engineering practices, standards, and culture as we scale. Potential Products You Would Own - Our Community Health Worker mobile application that drives productivity, engagement, and data capture for our in-field mobile workforce. - Our suite of scheduling and logistics tooling that drive workforce utilization and member engagement. - A custom CRM platform that enables our growth and retention marketing teams to power predictable, cost-effective growth. - Clinical tooling to drive patient outcomes and utilization/efficacy of our clinical staff. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software. - Deep experience with React (or React Native) and Ruby on Rails—required. - Strong command of SQL and relational databases—you can model data well, write performant queries, and reason about schema design. - A track record of owning features or products end to end, including the product thinking behind them. - Comfort operating with incomplete information, making decisions without extensive process, and building systems that may support 10x growth over the next few years. - You're an early adopter and power user of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.) and can show others how to get the most out of them. - Strong product judgment: you've influenced what gets built, killed bad ideas early, and measured impact after shipping. - A builder at heart—you make things on your own time because you can't help it. - Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team standards. - Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements - Bonus if You Have: - Metabase or similar BI tooling—you'll likely be building in it regularly. - Inertia.js experience. - Healthcare, digital health, Medicare, or value-based care experience. - Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments. Benefits - Competitive compensation based on experience. - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits. - 401k. - PTO, Sick, Wellness leave, and Paid Holidays. - Opportunity for significant career growth and expansion of responsibilities. - Ability to reshape an industry and protect lives. One Concrete Ask Send us something you've built—ideally something you own beyond your day job. A side project, an open-source contribution, a tool that scratched your own itch. Tell us what it does, the most interesting technical or product decision you made, and how AI coding tools fit into how you work today. We'd rather see one thing you're proud of than a long list of past employers.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and submittals for completeness, constructability, and alignment with Government requirements • Support facility condition assessments by reviewing documentation, identifying deficiencies, and drafting technical narratives and recommendations • Provide architectural code and standards research (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ADA/ABA, UFC where applicable) and document findings for Government consideration • Develop and/or review design alternatives, space planning concepts, and architectural options to support Government evaluation • Draft technical inputs for Statements of Work, performance requirements, and evaluation criteria for Government review and approval • Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, security) to identify interfaces, conflicts, and integration issues • Prepare technical briefings, decision-support matrices, and executive summaries for Government stakeholders • Track technical issues and actions; support resolution workflow by documenting options, impacts, and recommended paths forward
• Own customer rollouts end to end — data integration, model build-out, validation, and production cutover — as the primary technical owner. • Build AI-driven automated test harnesses to validate every new product release against real customer use cases and models, catching regressions before they reach customers. This is a critical function of the role: you'll use AI to generate, run, and evaluate test cases at scale across diverse customer configurations. • Build and maintain data integrations between customer source systems (ERP, GL, data warehouses) and our platform, treating them as durable, version-controlled engineering deliverables rather than throwaway scripts. • Translate real-world requirements in financial and operational modeling into correct, performant models on the platform. • Diagnose and resolve data, performance, and correctness issues — often deep in SQL, source data, and consolidation logic. • Ship bug fixes and feature extensions directly against the platform — make targeted product changes to unblock customers and close gaps surfaced in the field, rather than only filing tickets and waiting on core engineering. • Act as the feedback loop to product and engineering: surface friction, propose fixes, and where warranted, build them. • Partner with customer stakeholders across finance and operations, earning trust as someone who understands their domain and can make the software do what they need
• Support Project Managers throughout the tool build cycle • Provide support to site QE on how to measure dimensions, supporting correlation between Viant manufacturing location, mold shop, & customer, support measurement fixture design and manage fabrication • Work with Site Tooling Engineer on requirements throughout design. • Work with Process Engineer on requirements throughout design and development. • Provide engineering support for business development to sell tooling solutions and solve tooling issues. • Provide engineering support for existing tool modification and repairs. • Supervision of tooling bench inspection upon receipt at Viant facility and instruction to tool room employees for correct preparation to get the molds ready for validation as needed. • Provide tooling troubleshooting and advanced mold diagnostics support to the manufacturing locations • Lead structured root cause analysis and drive corrective actions in collaboration with site teams. • Support quoting and early customer engagements by providing tooling technical input. • Manage DFM including Drawing reviews with site Quality Engineers • Manage mold shop's deliverables & expectations • Confirm receiving site requirements including press designation • Travel to various customer sites, tool fabrication sites and Viant production facilities as needed.
