• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence. • Actively develop, maintain, and enhance Delphi-based applications and services. • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning. • Drive delivery of roadmap commitments in partnership with Product Management and Development Management. • Ensure high standards of software quality through code reviews, testing, performance optimization, and secure coding practices. • Guide the modernization of legacy applications and integrations while maintaining business continuity for existing customers. • Collaborate with Customer-facing teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve product reliability. • Promote responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and validate AI-generated code and documentation. • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and career development of team members. • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, development processes, and technical standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Delphi development experience (version 12).
- 2+ years of technical leadership, mentoring, or team leadership experience.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL and relational database design.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and software design principles.
- Experience supporting and enhancing large-scale business-critical applications.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite environments (preferred).
- Experience within Financial Automation, Banking, Payments, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or ERP domains (preferred).
- SQL and Oracle database (12C or higher) programming experience (preferred).
- Experience integrating Delphi applications with modern APIs and services (preferred).
- Experience leading application modernization initiatives (preferred).
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar enterprise-approved solutions (preferred).
- Experience working with globally distributed teams (preferred).
