Vibration Analyst
Fortive
• Analyze vibration and other condition monitoring data from various industrial assets • Review, validate, and enhance fault detections and recommendations produced by the automated diagnostic platform • Generate clear, concise, and technically accurate diagnostic reports tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences • Ensure adherence to internal analysis standards, alarm criteria, and reporting protocols • Collaborate remotely with reliability engineers, fellow analysts, and customer-facing teams to inform asset health and maintenance decisions
Job Requirements
- Current and verifiable ISO Category III Vibration Analyst certification (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on vibration analysis experience in industrial settings
- Strong proficiency in:
- FFT spectrum analysis
- Time waveform analysis
- Envelope/demodulation techniques
- Thorough understanding of rotating machinery design, operating principles, and common failure modes
- Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on technical accuracy and clarity
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment while consistently meeting productivity and quality standards.
